Chiradeep Patra is a married man and is blessed with a wonderful wife by his side. He was born and brought up in Cuttack, which is a small town of Orissa, India, in a Christian family in 9th October 1975. He was the first child of his parents. He had suffered physically a lot from his very childhood as he has congenital heart disease and was undergone open-heart surgery twice in his lifetime, first in 1978 and second in 2001. But God had different plans for him. He was gracious to give him enough strength and will power to stand for His glory.
Now Chiradeep is working with a mission as an Accountant for last seven years in Kolkata, India, after finishing his Masters in Commerce successfully. He has settled down there with his wife for God’s ministry. Though academically and professionally his background is accounts and finance but his hearts desire (was and) is into counseling. He did his Post Graduation Diploma in Psychological Counseling through distance learning in 2004. He is a good listener and can make others his own in no time. He along with his wife publishes a small booklet named as ‘CANDLES’. He has also written articles for the magazines like, ‘Harvest Times for your family’, ‘Grace Counselor’, ‘Prajapati – The Butterfly’ etc.
