My only son (child) will be leaving this August for college. My heart breaks everytime I think about life without him at home. I know it is time for his own life adventure, but it is still hard. Your story touched me so much. I read it while I had a few minutes in class. It brought more tears to my eyes. Thank you. Though at the time you were going through it, it probably didn't seem all that funny. Many years ago, I had Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It wasn't any fun. The drug I was prescribed actually had a barbituate in it to counteract the flushing from another ingredient, so I was told by my Doctor. He knew how I felt about those things. I was so happy for a few days that I couldn't think straight. I was having a ball, but my husband was not at all amused! We were a team selling mobile homes at the time and he was stressed out, I was smiling all the time and he had to do all the driving. I would have been happy to drive, but he just wouldn't let me. Gee, I wonder why. At one point I asked him if he were mad at me, because he sure looked mad. And he said yes, because I was so d*** happy. I, too, am looking forward to reading more about your experience. Oh, and I know how hard it can be to take mood altering drugs. As it has turned out, my husband is clinically bi-polar and it's taken us a lot of years to find the right drug. I love your articles. Something Is Squirrelly Here! I'm with your younger son, though. I would want to keep it as a pet. My husband isn't really to fond of that, though. He made me get rid of the four foot long bull snake that it took out of my neighbors yard for her. There was a lot of yelling and screaming during the process (not from me) which I am sure annoyed the snake no end. Once again, great article, very descriptive and well written. Going to the gym can still be doing it your' my way. Progressive ongoing action (exercise) produces positive results. Please do not leave out proper nutrition, and the eating of whole live unprocessed foods, in the right combinations for proper digestion and assimilation. - Cooking destroys and alters the enzymes, amino and essential fatty acids, minerals and vitamins, that are Necessary for a vital immune system, Whole Health and Wellness, and Dis-Ease Prevention. I laughed. I also had flashbacks, turning on the radio and having the electric antenna emerging from a safe place, torn off ($100). Ooo, I've absent-mindedly opened the sunroof too. Fortunately, I came to my senses before any real damage was done. Now, I just take it to the dealer. I've spoiled the guys in the Service and Previously Owned Dept. They're the ones who prepare those cars for resale. A few dozen donuts, muffins, buckets of chicken and home-made cookies, work! I drop it off and go to the bookstore while they make it look brand spanking new again! I think we all have these stories but you told yours so very well! This article hit too close to home. Recently, we realized there was an unbearable odor coming from our car. . . ended up being my daughter's sippy cup thrown under the passenger seat-it had had choclate milk in it.
