She makes her own cleaning products, shampoo, lotions, massage oils and other potions. She gives away most of what she makes to friends and family. She loves giving things away!!
She has been disabled since 1999 after surgery on her knee. The surgery was a first time proceedure for her area and there was no protocol for the therapy. The surgery consisted of removing the knee cap to cut a deeper groove for her knee cap to track properly, lengthened a ligament, shortened a ligament, cut a tendon out completly, cut the tibia and move it over so that it was straight and then stapling it back in place. One year later she had arthoscopic surgery done to remove scar tissue. After two years of physical therapy she was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatique, Restleg Syndrome, IBS, and HepC. She went through 18 months of Interferon/Ribo therapy for the HepC and was declared cured in 2001. Now, she has to go through another arthoscopic surgery to remove as much arthritis as they can on the same knee they operated on in 1999. But, she has never given in or quit living because of her disabilities, she has just had to reevaluate her activities.
