Working with schools,
staff, families, teens and children to facilitate positive change has been the
focus of Dr. Dan Doyle’s professional career for over 33 years. Starting out as
a football, basketball and track coach, he taught social studies and English.
Dan recognized the need to develop leadership in the schools and experimented
with a large variety of approaches in a number of roles before he came to
understand what works.
Dr. Dan Doyle obtained his
doctorate in organizational and community psychology from the University of
Northern Colorado. He also
undertook post doctoral work in law and information management alongside many,
many workshops and seminars. Dan applies a variety of concepts, models and principles drawn from the
behavioral sciences, management literature and social sciences to the coaching
conversation to increase the organization’s self-awareness and awareness of
others, foster shifts in perspective, promote fresh insights, provide new
frameworks for looking at opportunities and challenges. He energizes and
inspires the school’s forward actions.
After
receiving the Graduate Dean’s Citation for Excellence for his dissertation on
the multi-level analysis of community organizations, Dan went on to serve in a
variety of ways. He has been a university professor, school counselor, family
therapist, custody evaluator, organizational consultant, family mediator,
clinical and school psychologist. Dr. Doyle served on the Larimer County Placement
Alternatives Commission, Mesa County Planning Commission, City of Cama Planning
Commission, Special Education Advisory Committee, Superintendent’s Advisory
Committee, WEA Executive Board and with the National Council on Alcoholism.

Schools Dr. Doyle teaches behavioral
psychology at Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colorado. He is licensed as a
clinical and school psychologist, K-12 school counselor and secondary teacher.
Dan is also a musician, singer, songwriter and guitarist with experience as a
