And any woman, in return, will say that her man is lazy, doesn't care for her enough, is egocentric, indifferent, and much, much more. In short women are never happy with their men, and men are practically scared of women, because they have no idea how to realize their idea of a perfect relationship. In addition, we find it extremely difficult to understand each other when it comes to very important, basic questions of life. A famous movie director once said: "Why are there no great female writers?, because a woman can't sit still. She must run around and do something. And men? They are ready to sit all their life!" This saying perhaps reflects the main difference between men and women. But instead of admitting and dealing with our nature , we try to change those we love, to make them fit with our own perception of reality. Women want their men to "run around" and keep busy, but often men just want to "do their own thing" without feeling guilty. Kabbalah says that in order to deal with ourselves and our partners, we must first of all become aware of our spiritual roots. It's no accident that sometimes we feel like men and women come from different planets because in fact, their souls come from different sources, Kabbalah explains. But one thing men and women have in common is something Kabbalah calls " the development of desires ." Over time, both men's and women's desires have grown, starting out from small, basic desires, and growing to more complex desires. For example, in the past women were satisfied if they had a home, a husband, and children. But as their desires developed, they began wanting different things, such as wealth, prestige, and knowledge, and therefore broke away from their "dependence on men." They could no longer be satisfied by staying at home, and not only that they also wanted to believe that they can go on without men, that they are actually better, smarter, and more capable. In different cultures this tendency was expressed to different extents, but the general impact is now showing itself very clearly. Over half of marriages end in divorce, many people prefer not to get married at all, and the very thought of having children seems like a nightmare for them. Men want to run away from women, women want to destroy men. In short, our growing egos are unable to recognize any needs apart from their own, and this leads to even bigger dissociation between the sexes. To get out of this growing crisis, Kabbalah suggests that what we have to get rid of is not our dependence on our partners, but our dependence on our own egos! Once we realize this, we will start looking at the world differently. We will stop competing and trying to prove that some of us are better, or more important than the other sex because really, this is just like an argument between two hands about which one is superior! Instead, we all should realize our roles and get on living happily together, each taking care of their part of the job. This sixth sense is something one develops over time. No one is born having this sense already developed. One might ask: what about people who are born with psychic abilities or unique powers of intuition? Aren't they born with that sixth sense? Lets take someone like Nostradamus as an example. He was born with a special talent to predict future events. But did he feel what was to come through the sixth sense? Kabbalah says-no, the sixth sense is completely unrelated to such abilities. Predicting the future, and other psychic abilities, are qualities found in unique people who are extremely sensitive to Nature. And yet, these qualities pertain to the physical world only. People with such abilities can sense past and future events in this world, but not in the higher, spiritual realms. Therefore, such abilities only allow a person to have extra information about our earthly, biological existence, whereas the sixth sense allows one to feel and additional, spiritual realm. In fact, many animals are also able to sense what will happen in the future. They can predict natural phenomena such as earthquakes, hurricanes and storms a few days before they occur. In addition, thousands of years ago, people's abilities of intuition and predicting the future were much greater than they are today. This is because throughout time we have lost our sensitivity to Nature; all in all, these abilities belong to the physical world and not to the sixth sense. But if so, what is the sixth sense, and how do we obtain it? Kabbalah says that the sixth sense is when one rises "higher" than the physical world and begins to feel more than what his natural five senses perceive. This new feeling is called "the sixth sense." This new sense perceives a different environment than what the five senses perceive. It feels a spiritual environment, called in Kabbalah "Upper Light." As soon as one feels the Upper Light through the sixth sense, he feels unrestricted in every sense and experiences a pleasure that he has never felt before. But in truth, it is impossible to explain what the sensation of spirituality is, unless a person feels it for himself. The sixth sense gives you a fundamentally new feeling, and trying to explain it to someone who hasn't experienced it, is like trying to describe to a blind person how the sunset looks like. When a person begins feeling spiritually through the sixth sense, he actually begins living in that realm. And at the same time, he continues living in the physical world together with all other people.

Kabbalah is about how to receive all the joy and perfection that come from revealing the force that encompasses all of Creation, the Creator. Kabbalah teaches us how to connect with that force, and when we do, we will receive all the abundance that exists on His level. Sounds fantastic and supernatural? In fact, we learn this wisdom from people who are exactly like us, only they discovered that within man's internality, there lies a connection to the force that sustains Creation. Just like natural scientists, they measured what they were feeling, examined it and recorded their findings. The books they wrote eventually developed into an entire science that any person can now study. But studying Kabbalah books is quite different than studying other textbooks or other sciences. The study process works in a special way, where by reading the text, one gradually develops new sensations within, and begins to feel his connection to the Creator. By studying books written by Kabbalists, we begin seeing the world the way they do, and we discover that we live in a vast spiritual reality. As a result, we find our place in the grand scheme of things, we find out where we came from and where we're going, and most importantly, "What is our purpose in life?" A Remedy for the Soul
That is why Kabbalists say that it's vitally important for every person to study Kabbalah. This invaluable remedy that the wisdom of Kabbalah gives us is the ability to awaken our souls. And it happens in a simple manner: you only have to strive to experience what you are studying. From then on, you embark on a journey of discovery, increasingly revealing the Creator until reaching the level of infinity and perfection that He exists on.

Modern psychological research shows that we do everything with the aim of receiving a reward -even if that reward is just a chemical in our brain. We are not only "rewarded" for the obvious things that give us pleasure, but even for things you wouldn't expect-like fighting. The article "Brain rewards aggression much like it does sex, food, drugs" published by the journal Psychopharmacology, tells us of interesting new research results obtained at Vanderbilt University : "It is well known that dopamine is produced in response to rewarding stimuli such as food, sex and drugs of abuse," Maria Couppis, who conducted the study as her doctoral thesis at Vanderbilt, said. "What we have now found is that it also serves as positive reinforcement for aggression." Craig Kennedy, chair of Vanderbilt's Peabody College of education and human development's special education department, which is consistently ranked as the top special education program in the nation, and the director of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Research of Human Development's Behavior Analysis Clinic, stated, "We learned from these experiments that an individual will intentionally seek out an aggressive encounter solely because they experience a rewarding sensation from it. This shows for the first time that aggression, on its own, is motivating, and that the well-known positive reinforcer dopamine plays a critical role." In other words, even our aggressive behavior is motivated by the desire to receive a feeling of pleasure, which the chemical dopamine provides. But modern psychology is not the only science that speaks about this. For millennia, the wisdom of Kabbalah has been saying the same thing-that we are the "will to receive," meaning a desire to feel pleasure. According to Kabbalah, we were created by "the Creator," a higher force whose only aim in creating us was to please us . This is because by definition, the Creator exists in a state of perfection where He has no need to receive anything, no deficiency. It follows that His only desire is to give pleasure, therefore He had to create someone who will want to receive it from Him-a desire to receive pleasure. This is known as " The Thought of Creation "-to delight the created beings. Therefore, it's no wonder that literally everything we do-even the chemical processes taking place in our bodies-boils down to our desire to receive pleasure. Moreover, Kabbalah explains that everything that exists around us, and all the external conditions present in our lives, were created for the same purpose : To give us the opportunity to feel the pleasure that the Creator wishes to bestow upon us. Hence, the Thought of Creation is all around us. It is the only force that brings everything to motion , that rules all of reality and humankind, doing all this with the aim of bringing us to the best possible state of existence. However, in order to feel all the pleasure that comes from the Creator, we have to learn how to fully use our will to receive. The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us how to "receive" all the pleasure contained in the Thought of Creation, and thus rise to the level of the Creator Himself-eternity and perfection.
