Revealed: How To Lose Belly Fat Fast

Posted Thursday, October 23, 2008 (1 year 32 days ago.) Viewed 50 times.

I hope you're excited. Because in the next 3 minutes I'm going to show you a fool-proof formula so you can lose your belly fat faster than a speeding bullet. Even if you've struggled before, even if you're overweight and haven't exercised for months or years, this method will work for you.

Here's What You Need To Do...

Let me tell you something before I reveal my formula. It's not for the faint-hearted. It's only for smart, serious and tenacious. So if you consider yourself serious enough and want a head-turning body, read on. Here's how this formula works:

You need 3 things to lose belly fat quickly. They're all easy to understand, they all burn fat, and together, they'll get rid of your belly fat almost as quick as an Olympic sprinter. I'll cover each in more detail later, here's the components: 1. Cardiovascular exercise – specifically High Intensity Interval Training, 2. Healthy nutrition, and 3. Resistance or weight training.

You may be thinking, "yeah I've heard this before," or "nothing new here". That's where you're wrong. Most people just try and do one component. Usually they change their diet and try to eat less – who wants to do that? I don't. I eat a lot, but I eat a lot of the right foods. Other people just try going to the gym or doing some cardio, and wonder why they don't get the kind of results they really want.

Here's the secret...

You won't get amazing results, like the people you see in fitness magazines, or the hot bodies on the beach until you start putting all 3 components together into your lifestyle. If you think you can get a great body and burn away your belly fat without making major changes, you're wrong. That's the cold hard reality.

The problem is, the diet market, drug companies have tricked people into believing they can take a little pill and you'll wake up skinny. It's not true. It's one of the biggest myths dreamt up by guys in white coats – ever.

Here are the key ingredients:

1. Cardiovascular exercise – specifically High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Studies show HIIT burns more calories faster than regular cardio exercise. You also workout for less time, so you can spend time doing things you enjoy. Plus it also causes your body to burn fat after you've finished working out for up to 48 hours. So after a session you literally burn fat while sat on the sofa!

2. Healthy eating. It's not the same as dieting. It's eating more of the right foods at the right time. You should aim to eat 6 small meals per day. This will stop snacking, help you feel fuller and keep your metabolism running fast. You should eat everything in moderation, a careful balance of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, from a variety of sources. Fad diets which cut out one or the other are unhealthy and bad for your body in the long term.

3. Weight training or resistance training. You must start doing weight training or resistance training to burn fat and tone up your muscles. You can train differently so that your muscles become lean and toned or big and defined, depending what you want. This type of training burns calories, tones muscles and gives you a desirable 'beach body' look.

I've covered these 3 points individually, in more detail in previous articles. However, I want you to realise how important it is to include all 3 into your life. As soon as you do, you'll start seeing fast results. It won't be overnight. But within 2 to 3 weeks you'll see noticeable results and the benefits to your health will last you a lifetime.

Once you get over the fear and realisation that you have to workout and make changes to your life, the sooner you'll burn away your belly fat. The beauty is, it really isn't that hard. Imagine if you had to work in a dirty, dusty mine for 12 hours a day, digging out coal by hand. That's hard work. Put things in perspective and start a plan of action to hit your goals.

The Explosive Fast Fat Burning Workout Which Works!

Posted Wednesday, October 22, 2008 (1 year 33 days ago.) Viewed 134 times.

Do you need to burn fat and fast? Maybe you've got a hot date coming up, a special occasion or event like a beach holiday, or maybe you're just not happy with the way you look – whatever you reasons for wanting to burn fat fast - I'm here to help. Because it is possible when you know how and I'm going to reveal all below.

Let me explain. Fast fat burning is a science, not an art. If you can follow specific instructions, step-by-step, you can burn fat fast. The problem is there's a lot of rubbish, half-truths, and misinformation out there about burning fat. Most of it comes from people who really don't have a clue, or from the big drug companies who make a mint selling diet pills, taking advantage of your hopes and dreams. I'm putting a stop to it.

Here's how...

In the rest of this article I'm going to outline a simple, effective, fat burning workout that you can use to burn calories at will. It revolves around a method of training call high intensity interval training (HIIT). Don't be put off the name, it works, and you only work at your fitness level, so you're not competing with anyone but yourself, so you can build yourself up gradually.

What is HIIT?

High Intensity Interval Training is a powerful training method used by top coaches, trainers and athletes. You can and should be using it. HIIT is not easy. It involves working out at a high intensity (the name gives it away doesn't it), followed by a short period of active recovery, then it's repeated. It's incredibly effective and will give you quicker results than almost any other fat burning method. I won't go into the science here, but if you're really interested just Google "HIIT". So what does HIIT do for you?

How does HIIT benefit you?

  • HIIT burns calories fast! Research has shown it can burn up to 50% more calories than steady cardio. Why? For a number for of reasons, it induces an increase in the activity of fat burning enzymes and increases fat utilisation post workout. Research has shown your body will continue to burn fat at higher levels for up to 48 hours after your workout – so you can sit on the couch and still reap the benefits.
  • It's quick – you don't need to take a few hours out of your day to fit it in. You'll only be working out for 20 – 30 minutes max!

  • Plus it's great for fitness, it has been shown to produce an increase in aerobic (increase VO2 max) AND anaerobic capacity. If you add HIIT to your training program you'll get fit faster than your competitors who used steady, 'same-old' methods of training.

Sample HIIT exercise/workout

To clarity, when doing high intensity interval training, 1 interval = 1 sprint and 1 period of active recovery. On a scale of 1-10 the intensity you work out at should be an 8 or a 9, and your active recovery should be a 3 – a jog (don't stop or walk).

Start off with a 5 minute warm-up by jogging to get your blood flowing and loosen off your muscles. Once you're ready and warm, it's time to get started.

Here's a beginner interval session:

30 seconds sprint followed by 90 seconds active recovery. Repeat 6 times.

E.g. Warm up: Sprint 30 seconds – Recover 90 seconds – Sprint – Recover – Sprint -Recover – Sprint – Recover – Sprint – Recover – Sprint – Recover: Warm down and stretch off.

As you get better, you drop the recovery period, and add sprints. So if you're quite fit, you'd do, eight 30 second sprints followed by only 60 seconds active recovery. As you improve make it harder, add more sets and drop the recovery again, e.g. ten 30 second sprints and 30 seconds recovery. Always remember to warm down and stretch off after the workout.

Your HIIT sessions should be challenging and intense, and do them no more than 2 to 3 times a week. It's certainly not for everyone, so if you're very unfit or overweight you'll have to build yourself up carefully and slowly. HIIT really is great. You do shorter workouts, get quicker results and burn fat for longer – even when you've finished.

Revealed: Tips To Burn Fat Fast

Posted Tuesday, October 14, 2008 (1 year 40 days ago.) Viewed 66 times.

It's a simple fact. Most people get the whole thing totally wrong when they try and lose weight or burn fat.

It's crazy.

You have everyone from professional, intelligent people who have to make multi-million dollar decisions, to your average Jane who works at the local café. Intelligent, capable people, but when it comes to trying to burn fat, common sense and rational thinking go out the window.

People jump to quick fixes, illogical and potentially dangerous solutions. There's none of the research and due diligence involved that would get done if they were buying a car. It doesn't make sense.

You only get one body. Treat it like gold! With that in mind, here's some tried and tested tips for burning fat fast. Yes – I've personally used and tested these. They're not hocus pocus or a quick fix. But they work.

Let's get to it...

"Ian Jones' 3 Rules To Burn Fat Fast"

Golden Rule #1 - Nutrition Rules. Nutrition is the start and the end of everything when it comes to fat burning and weight loss. No matter how much cardio and weight training you do, if you eat like a devil then you will struggle to get in great shape. If you're not prepared to give up the fast food and the alcohol, don't expect to get rid of the flabby belly.

Golden Rule 2 - Cardio Burns Fat. Cardiovascular training is any aerobic activity that raises your heart rate and gets you breathing heavily. For example, running, swimming and squash are great cardio workouts. There seems to be some fear of cardio training. Yes it hurts and is tiring, but it's only temporary and it provides great results. Focus on the end results and as Nike say, "Just Do It".

Golden Rule 3 - Weight/Resistance Training Works. The hidden component most people miss. Almost everyone thinks they don't need to hit the weights or do resistance training to burn fat. The fact is, weight/resistance training is great for fat burning and muscle toning. So you get the added benefit of toning up while you burn fat. Weight/resistance training raises your metabolism, burns calories and will help tone up those flabby bits. If you don't want to bulk up, you use light weights and low repetitions, but if you do want to bulk up, lift heavy weight and do less reps.

Include all 3 elements into your training routines and I guarantee you'll burn fat, tone up and be looking great in no time. It's not easy. You'll have to work hard and be persistent, but the long term results are well worth the effort.

As soon as you realise that quick fixes will only set you up for failure and disappointment the sooner you can use a proven system to get the type of results you really want. It doesn't matter if you are young, old, man or women, or haven't exercised for years – with the basic formula I've outlined above you'll get the results you deserve.

If you need to "fill-in" the blanks and need specific advice on each point, get to your local gym and speak to a personal trainer. If you can't afford one, do your research online, there are plenty of tried and tested nutrition and workout programs for you to print out and follow, a good example is turbulence training
