Protecting a Man Accused of Raping and Killing a Five Year Old-How Could This Be?

Posted Friday, November 20, 2009 (6 hours 53 minutes ago.) Viewed 9 times.

How is it that a man could be place on supervised probation for shooting three people and drug charges? Well this is what happened with Mario McNeill.

He later violated his probation and was sent to jail for three years, was released and then charged with cocaine possession at which point he was placed back on supervised probation. Not long after that he was charged with striking a police officer with his vehicle, and then placed on unsupervised probation once again.

This is some of the history of the man who has been charged with first degree murder, rape and kidnapping of the 5 year old child Shaniya Davis. What makes this case even worse in my opinion is the involvement of the child’s mother Antoinette Davis. She is being charged with human trafficking, felony child abuse involving prostitution, filing a false police report and interfering with an investigation.

Currently McNeill is being held without bail and is in ISOLATION FOR HIS OWN PROTECTION . It makes me so angry when the justice system is worried about his protection and others like him. I know that our law states innocent until proven guilty and I do believe that, but it still angers me when I hear about such injustices and see the history of some of these people. I wonder how many convicted sex offenders have been released only to repeat their history and sometimes their violence has escalated? What is happening to our judicial system? That is where my real anger is directed? At the judges who are letting dangerous predators go even after they have been proven guilty and their history dictates that they are dangerous. I think we should put the judges who commit such atrocities on trial.

The judge told McNeill that he is facing life without parole or the death penalty. Thank God one of our liberal judges of today was not assigned to this case. If he is found guilty I hope the jury will think long and hard about his sentencing. I hope they remember that he showed no mercy for a helpless five year old.

These are the stories that break my heart. This story is about moral decay personified.

Thank you for letting me rant.

How to Become a Big Star Like Carrie Prejean and Pamela Anderson with Free Advertising----

Posted Saturday, November 14, 2009 (6 days 11 hours ago.) Viewed 168 times.

One of the biggest topics recently is about sex tapes made by Carrie Prejean. Prior to the scandalous tape by Carrie there was a sex tape made by Pamela Anderson which added to her stardom. Evidently Carrie made a rather obscene sex tape of herself for her boyfriend when she was seventeen years old and someone put it on the internet. Since the tape has cropped up she is getting so much free publicity from this very controversial tape that almost everyone knows who she is.

She has just written a book (Still Standing, The Untold Story of My Fight against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks) and because of all the publicity it is expected to be a really big seller.

History on the celebrities who have made sextapes shows that the tapes end up pushing their careers to the top of the charts and in some cases a money maker as well. Some people believe that Carrie Prejean started the sextape controversy herself just for the publicity. I certainly hope that is not the case. America is already in moral decay and we don’t need to add to it. I pray that God will help us turn this country around and that we once again become known as a Christian nation that lives by moral principles.

This new controversial tape has also made people wonder about her actions on the Larry King show. She seemed to be very upset when Larry King asked her why she settled her lawsuit with Miss California USA. Her response to Larry King was that he was being inappropriate. He was supposed to have been told prior to her appearance not to talk about the lawsuit because she was not allowed to discuss the case with anyone. According to Larry King no one had said anything to him about it.

People are now wondering what she is really like. They are wondering if she really is the Christian she professes to be or is she still that seventeen year old girl gone wild. She admits to making mistakes when she was younger and has stated that she is no longer the person that she was at seventeen when she made the tape.

I must say that I admire the fact that she didn’t try to deny what she did. She hopes to be able to save other teenagers from making the same mistakes she did and possibly ruining their lives. She is hoping people will move on and get over it. That might not be possible since it is on the internet.

Someone has warned people that the tape might be considered child pornography so if you are thinking about finding it you might give it a second thought.

I wish her well and I do hope that she has made the changes in her life that she says she has. Time will tell and I do hope people will give her the benefit of doubt unless proven guilty. I hope she will be able to help others and keep them from making the same mistakes.

Worries About My Daughter-I Need Answers-Can You Help Me?

Posted Wednesday, November 11, 2009 (9 days 7 hours ago.) Viewed 203 times.

I am really getting worried about my daughter. Lately she has been saying and thinking some really strange things.

It wasn't too long ago she couldn’t find her husband and he was sitting on his computer, right next to hers, in the same room. Can you imagine? Her husband told me that she went so far as to call the police department and report him as missing? I bet he didn’t tell them he was sitting on his computer when she was looking for him. Later on she realized he wasn’t missing she just didn’t have her glasses on and couldn’t see him. LOL that poor thing, I am really worried about her.

Not long after that she made an appointment with the doctor for her twin sons to see if he could surgically remove their cell phones that had grown to their ears. Evidently the school had to call and tell her about her two boy’s dilemmas with their attached cell phones because she hadn’t noticed. She must not have had her glasses on again. That poor thing, I am really worried about her.

Recently she had another problem concerning her husband. She couldn’t remember his last name and so she had to ask other people if they knew what his last name is. Poor thing I think her mind is going and I’m really worried about her.

I was going to call the Dr. to make an appointment for her but there is one little problem, I can’t remember her name. Do you know what it is?

Learning to Hear What Others Are Really Saying

Posted Monday, October 26, 2009 (25 days 7 hours ago.) Viewed 39 times.

Some lessons are hard and some lessons are easy, its what you do with the experience that counts.

Unfortunately for me most of my lessons were learned the hard way. It seems that I had a problem with my hearing. I was never sure that what you said was what I heard because it seems like most of the time I missed the mark, whatever the mark was at time.

Then one day I woke up after being hit by a two x four. I found myself surrounded with people who had the same type of dysfunctional life that I had and were successful in turning their lives around. They were kind and loving and accepted me just the way I was. They gave me directions on how to turn my life around so that I would not be in turmoil and feeling lost all the time.

I was so beat up at that point in my life that it was easy to accept that I needed to do a lot of work on myself with their help and the help of the Lord my life has changed and continues to change daily.

It was hard to face myself but I knew that if I wanted freedom from all kinds of bondages that I was going to have to do it. I've learned how to look at life from a whole new perspective and for that I shall forever be grateful. Today I can hear when people talk to me and my life has become very simple and most of the time pretty stress free. I have been blessed.

The turning point for me was when I started to believe the Bible passage, John 3:16-17 was true, and I asked the Lord to come into my life. If you're life is a mess and you think there is no way out try reading the above passage and hopefully you will give your ALL (good & bad, thoughts and actions) to Him and let Him lead you into a life filled with peace and joy.

The Value of True Friendship---

Posted Tuesday, October 20, 2009 (31 days 6 hours ago.) Viewed 70 times.

When I was a lot younger I used to think all my friends were true friends forever, but with age hopefully comes some wisdom. I have found that true friends are few and far between. I've also learned that God doesnt work in a vacuum, he works through people. It is through people that I have learned some of the worst and some of the best things about myself. I am grateful to have friends but especially grateful for the true friends.

My husband and I moved recently and I have received notes from some of my friends. It is always nice to hear from them because I do miss seeing them, but I really miss my true friend.

My best friend and I met at an art class and knew from the very beginning that we would have a special relationship. We became like sisters.

We phone each other from time to time and talk on the net almost daily. We share our deepest fears and tears with each other and love and accept each other just the way we are, warts and all. We encourage and are supportive of each other.

In the spring we are planning to go to the coast in Oregon and spend a week painting, shopping, eating, and just doing girl stuff. I can hardly wait.

I wish I would have known the importance of having a true friend when I was growing up. I was raised in a very dysfunctional environment and it has taken me years of hard work to change my outlook on life and to learn to value true friendship. Through the grace of God I now have a couple of true friends and I am a true friend to them.

I think the greatest definition available of what transpires when we experience true love and true friendship is found in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.

May you all experience true love and true friendship.
