If you are earning well, would you be willing to say how you're doing it?

Not yet Jennifer. I do some some commercial values on the article statistics page. Still got to go a long way to catch up with Kontera. I would be more than glad to share if I do well. Thank you.

Thanks, Shyam - that is your name, right? Can I call you that instead of DM? :)

You can call me Shyam. :-)

I'd love to know the answer to this as well. What I've seen with my own personal account is that Kontera's payout is about one tenth of what it was two years ago... hardly worth it. We've debated just removing Kontera from the options on SearchWarp, but that would only hinder the ability of the writers on SearchWarp from earning from their articles.

Is it possible to earn say $600 a month?

Anything's possible. Let's crunch the numbers.

From what I can tell, Kontera is paying about $0.40 CPM, which is basically revenue per 1,000 page views. So 600 / .40 * 1000 = 1,500,000.

To make $600, you would need 1,500,000 page views a month. So the question then becomes, can you get one and a half million page views per month?

If you could do that, you could probably earn $6,000 a month with AdSense instead of Kontera.

That's just downright depressing!

Hello Jenny,

I am not sure about Kontera, but I had Infolinks (in-text advertising and are bigger than Kontera) installed at my website Winfromus and I still have. My earnings have not been good compared to what of Google Ads. It seems like that Internet users are more use to clicking attractive Google Ad's (images, flash etc) than in-text ads like Kontera, Infolinks.

What I also have noticed is that visitors will just hover the mouse around the text which shows the ad but not click it. It means we earn nothing, but the advertiser had reached the eye balls of the visitor (clicks or not).

Over all I have not been happy with the performance and soon to be switching to Google Ads.
