Having through that route myself, I can tell you that overweight is a problem that maintains your sugar levels high, the main culprits are carbohydrates and sweets. You do not have to give up everything but try to check the labels of the foods you are now eating and start lowering at a slow but steady pace while checking the results. Breads, Noodles, candies, etc... All can be consumed if done in a control manner. I have lowered not only my test results but also my weight and improved my eating habits. I used to weight 230-245 Lbs, now I weight 180-185 and feel a lot better.
Your mind is the MASTER, use it, it works. Don't forget to offer a prayer asking for help. Good luck!!!
You know what there is a company called NuSkin.com check out their new developements towards lowering the count for diabetes!
