Could you please help me figure out how to upload images to my new postings?
For example, www.123rf.com/photo_4033458_golf-ball-galaxy.htmlto upload images
I am a bit new to all of this even though I have had my blog site up for 5 months now.
Thank you, dawn
Answers to this question:LOL - since you asked this question a full year ago, you probably have an answer by now, but perhaps someone else would like to know the answer.
To start with, the link you listed is not a good link, but if a person goes to the website www.123rf.com they are able to find the photo in question. The name of the photo is Golf Ball Galaxy and the photo number is 4033458.
Once you get to the photo you hit the "download" button and that will download the image to your computer [the site in question appears to be a site that has some free images and some images that you pay for, and you may have to sign up to download any of the images]. Whatever you do Dawn, always make sure that you have permission to use whatever photo you have chosen. Photos fall under the same copyright laws as articles.
After you've downloaded the image, open the download and your computer should ask you if you want to save the image and under what format. You then chose the format that is accepted by your particular blog site. Without knowing the type of blog you're using I can't tell you which format to use, but most sites accept JPG images so if you're not familiar with the various formats, try saving as a JPG. When you become more familiar with using images make sure you check out the various image types because the format you use will ultimately determine the clarity of the photo.
Once you have the photo saved to your computer, then you're ready to go to your blog site and upload and those instructions should be provided by the blog provider.
If anyone gets to that point and needs additional help, you can e-mail me, through SearchWarp, and I'll try to provide some assistance.
