I've experienced this problem many times in the last few months- sometimes having to re-write comments several times before they will "take". I've had the same results on different computers. The only way I've figured out to get them to go in is to click on edit and copy them first. Any ideas?
Answers to this question:Is it always on the same internet browser? (like AOL or Internet Explorer or Firefox)
Yes- it's always on IE. I just determined by switching computers that it isn't the individual computer itself...but something else-perhaps IE is not fast enough? I tried Firefox, but it didn't have some of the features that i like on IE. So, I prefer to use IE, if I can. But if it continues to cause a problem for me on Wrytestuff, I may forgo these other features and change to another one. Thanks Jean-
Hmm, wasn't the case with me, it worked every time the first time... i guess the comment wasn't there when you refreshed the page?
Hi Ella, my problem is just the opposite. Sending out comments is free and easy but getting in any is not. lol. (GRINNING)
HA! Getting comments is a whole 'nother subject..... :)
I thought it is special for Iran Inernet connections that fail to send data in a proper way. I think its a problem of Internet connections. and lack of cach in the comment section. website might feel you are sending a comment several times and blocks the excessive but nothing will be let in.
I don't think so Abol- the problem is that it won't take in the first one you send.....much less any excessive others-
Hmmm, I'll look into this... It seems to me that the people who have the most trouble with comments are using Internet Explorer or AOL, but regardless I need to make it work with both of these.
Hmmm- I never seem to encounter this problem while commenting in Q&A....wonder what is the difference?
Total Answers: 6, Total Page Views: 828.I've had some trouble as well. I do copy them first just in case they disappear. But I have had good success with clicking the Refresh button. That almost always fixes it. Oh, the browser I use is Mozilla Firefox.
Thanks Dianne-I'll try that- I'll try anything.....
