Readers' positive reactions, comments and personal satisfaction of the writer about writing or work can make a writer's day. Also, when a writer succeeds in accomplishing the aim and objective of writing,he/she has make his day.

I can't agree more with you particularly : Readers' positive reactions, comments ..... it's true, Rahaman.
I find it is when something strange happens as a result of writing. For example while "vanity googling" I found that some school had referenced one of my articles in their class notes - which was amusing.
As a result of writing I joined Twitter and one day Mythbusters were following me (I have no idea why they followed back). That made my day. Also getting retweeted by Kate Mulgrew (Janeway in Star Trek). Though that tiny bit of exposure lead to one random guy (probably a troll) deciding he really hated me.
Also, perversely, hate mail and aggressive comments are fun. The flip side is I really enjoy messages and emails from readers and WS writers. Especially when emails go back and forward for a while.
Above all it is probably the simple pleasure of writing and the amazing amount of learning you gain from the research that goes into writing.
Connor, how amazing to me what goes around with your cyber happenings and the school recommendation for one of your writings. It truly is encouraging, you know.
I can feel how when others choose to follow us even when one writer from WS becomes my fan, that makes my day. But about the hate mails, I don't think my small heart can somehow take it. I only wish what I receive from people is reasonably nice.
After clicking "submit" button, I find myself smiling, I have made my day !
