Can you describe a person with such detail that one could identify him or her in a group of other persons with your description alone?

This could be a fictional or a real person. Please caution yourself on the "real" person not give description that might be offensive to the person.

The description can include personality as well as physical characteristics. Use as many words as you reasonably need but try to be as succinct as you can. Most important, is to make the reader know your character.

I will describe the person using the psychological tool called psychoanalysis to get to socio-cultural,environmental,educational and parental factor as determinants of the person's personality make-up.The description will be based on principle of objectivity and the choice of diction will be concise and explicit.

I now want to describe a german whose deeds, misdeeds and actions ignited the second world war as an orator who was barely literate;a master propagandist, a war monger and a tyrannical leader.

The person i have described is Adolf Hitler.

Thank you for input, Onike. Hitler was definitely a colorful character. Sadly, for the world, he was painted of the darkest colors.

I like your humor, Pat! The little Id of colorful description may find her way to the surface or your statistical style of writing yet.

Gosh Marlin, I hope not....that would mean I'd have to use 60 words when six would do the trick and most of my articles are too long as it stands :)

Good point, Pat. I still like your humor.

I walk in to a restaurant and say to the Hostess, "I'm here to meet my husband but maybe you've already seated him. Have you seen a big guy with brown eyes, dark hair and a beard, looks a little scary but he's very quiet, kind and soft spoken. Jeans and a tee shirt. He would have told you he was here to meet the most beautiful woman in the world."

She says with a smile, "Oh yes, ma'am. He's right over there in the booth in the corner smiling at you."

A man in a red apron, sometimes in white shirt and glasses, always smiling at people who are hungry when you pass by, the 3-letter on his left explains while yummy chicken is oozing out from the outlet.
