I think I actually enjoy the change from one season to the next the most....
Answers to this question:I think winters are the best. you get to see snow every where. Everything looks so beautiful covered in snow.
Mmmm, yes, snow is very beautiful!
This isn't a season, so I'm instantly disqualified. My favorite holiday is New Years Day because I believe in starting over with new, optimistic goals! To this Fall season I say, "Bring it on, New Years is just around the corner!"
Yep, you're disqualified... :) BUT, I did not specify literal seasons vs "seasons of life", so you may sneak in by technicality.
My favourite season is dry season, the preference is dictated by my occupational status and health reasons.I sell book to schools and the market is usually poor during raining season. As a book vendor resident in the developing world, many books do get mutilated or spoil by the wet season. Two,i usually face health challenges during wet season than when weather is dry. So,i prefer dry season to wet/raining season.
Thanks for your answer, I live in a place where we don't have a specific rainy season so I enjoyed thinking of "seasons" in a different light!
There is something enjoyable in all of the seasons but if I had to chose a favorite it would be fall.
Nature repaints the landscape in vivid autumn hues of yellow, orange, red and brown. Fall is a symbol of the bounties that hard work brings. When the harvest is finally in and the insects have retired until the spring, there is crisp autumn pleasure in sitting near a fire with someone special. Together, you enjoy a hot drink with the added glow of a little brandy and the warmth of the closeness that you share.
It just doesn't get any better than that.
Ahhh, very good - after reading this, I may be swayed to think fall is my favorite season too! Thanks Marlin.
Driving Winter blizzards and mountains of drifted snow, simply and only because there's no horrid, disease vector mosquitoes!!
That is a great reason to love winter, indeed.
As a child I loved winter.
As an erstwhile adult, I dislike Winter, intensely, and see it as an intolerable form of death, but I simply loathe mosquitoes, exponentially more.
God made profound mistakes when He created alligators, mosquitoes and the German Nation, whose national hobby and pastime is war.
Definitely a rainy season is not my cup of tea. It's better to be sunny and cooling so that I can do things conveniently though there's no so-called 4 seasons in Malaysia but we always receive favorable weather all year round. This year and the last, we experienced more rain than before.
I am much happier during sunny weather, I think. Is that just psychological do you think? Then again, last year we had a terrible drought and I desperately longed for rain.
I like winter in summer, I like spring in winter and I like summer in autumn and winter in Summer. But I always like Autumn. Its so colorful, so tragic and so funny. for more than 18 years it was the starting point for education. It is the season I would say lets start learning something new. without going to school and university I feel I missed something valuable. I like to always remain student.
Oh, you're fickle about the seasons like I am. I like them all when they are starting and by the end can't wait for the next one. I am seeing a trend here of people voting for fall and winter.
