That depends on where you are financially at present moment and how you were raised in regards to money. If you're already rich, then it could be probably be in the trillions or more. If you're an average middle class citizen I think 1-10 million is already over the top.
To test this question so as to give a well-founded answer, please all send me as much money as you can. When it becomes too much, I will come back and post the result :)

To me the "obvious" answer is more than you need. But how much a specific individual needs is relative and so there can be no single answer. It will be different for everyone.
Go get some "gas" in the UK and you'll see what too uch money means.
