Do dreams mean anything?

For example I dreamt last night that I accidently inhaled or somehow got a load of fish hooks in my mouth, ( the exact circumstance is unclear) some got hooked in my mouth and gums, some small fly hooks down my throat, scary, luckily i woke up. I have not been fishing recently and am not a fishing fanatic

I think our Gregory can translate your dreams for you. He did that for me one time here. 70% accurate!

Whoa that is a scary dream man. I don't dream, well.... everyone dreams but I mean I can never remember mine in the morning.

Hi Paul, I rarely remember mine it usually happens if I wake suddenly, but if I do recall dreams they are usually quite detailed and usually in colour.

As far as I know, it is not so much about what is happening, but more about how you feel. For example, this could represent anxiety about the mouth where you may say something that gets you stuck in a situation and you can't get out of it. Like making a promise you can't keep or causing accidental offence.

Just a suggestion.

I think I could tell you what your dream means, but I won't do it publicly.

If you care to read an article I wrote on this subject the title is: Dreams- The Mirrors Of Your Soul- Perhaps you may be able to interpret your own dream.

I used to believe that a dream not interpreted was just like receiving a letter that you didn't read but am now convinced that universal dream symbols do NOT exist as dream symbols are always person specific.

Hi Stephen...I used to do intrepretations a lot, but circumstances have kept me from it for a while now, but your dream is interesting. Unlike Gregory, I do not feel that it has anything to do with disease. When I think of fish hooks, I think of getting caught. Perhaps you have so many things on your plate right now that your sub conscious is telling you that you are "caught-up" in too many things.

You state that you accidentally inhaled a load of fish hooks...this tells me that you were not aware, therefore there is something that you are involved in that you did not mean to get so wrapped up in, and that particular thing comes witha lot of ins and outs and other "catches".

Perhaps if you step back and take a look at the things you are doing right now, you may see that your sub consicous is actually telling you that you need to step awy from something or not get involved. This particular thing may be soemthing that will require more than you are prepared to give forth and will leave you with resentment or regret. Just my humble opinion, but worth a shot. Perhaps a vacation is needed from not just work, but other involvements.

You may be concerned about something or you just have a great imagination. Worry can cause certain dreams about that specific situation.
