Do you think a woman can truly not know that she is pregnant and then she delivers a baby?

On one of the TV channels, it shows women who are delivering a baby, but up until that point did not know they were pregnant (??) I don't understand that. There is so much kicking and movement while you are pregnant, not to mention your body changing, how can that be? What do you think?

This happened years ago with a friend of mines little sister. She delivered the baby into the toilet thinking she was sick. No kidding. Needless to say, she was very obese.

I guess if it is your first pregnancy you would not necessarily know what was happening, even with the kicking. I find that story fascinating. Fran Larson

A woman has to know that she is pregnant. Physically she undergoes changes and she has to notice these changes.

Unless she is very young/uneducated or has an irregular cycle (which obesity contributes to) it would be very hard to carry a baby for 9 months and be totally unaware it is there.

That would be my thinking...Fran
