Gotta go with Barry Sanders. Brown, Payton, Dorsett, Faulk and many others can be trumpeted, but none scared me more both in traffic and in the open field than Barry. He was the complete threat. His only limitation was the team he played for. Others ran for contending teams, while Barry ran for the lowly Lions.

When I ask myself, "What one running back would I want to eliminate from the opposition?" and I plug in the name of every famous running back I can think of, I find my juices flow the fastest when I think of him.
