Here in the UK you can take over an unregistered and abandoned property in a legal term called 'adverse possession'. After ten years of occupation you can register it with 'title of possession'. A few years later you can apply to upgrade it to 'absolute title' (the same as if you finished paying off a mortgage).

Looking for a needle in a haystack? Far from it. Close to half of all properties in England remain unregistered and there are hundreds of thousands of empty properties throughout the country. This is similar, but to a lesser degree, in Wales and Cornwall.

So no credit but it takes time and dedication.

Build up your credit first. You shouldn't be making that kind of a financial, long term commitment without knowing you can financially handle the expenses that come with home ownership. It was this kind of purchasing that helped the recession start, along with lending agents which took advantage of unknowing victims!

Purchase a home directly from the owner of the home. Owner Financing

or

Lease with option to buy so that you can lock the purchase price in while getting your credit repaired.
