Tell me your orange tabby story - does it chew everything in sight?

We have an orange tabby who is the biggest piece of work cat we have ever had (we currently have 16 paws so that is saying something) I want to know if all orange tabbies are so wired. Marijo

An old girlfriend -- yes, she was old, and now she's older -- had an orange tabby that used to faithfully wake me up every morning at 6:00 a.m. by nuzzling against my hand. Don't ask me how he knew it was 6, since the alarm was set for 8. One morning, I was so tired I pushed him away. He stopped waking me up that way, I think I hurt his feelings. I felt bad about doing that, but it wasn't a conscious thing.

IF ours is not in his kitty condo for the night he wakes us up by shredding magazines and newspapers.... needless to say he goes to his condo almost every night now with his bud, the Siamese names Stormy Blue - they are both "fodder" for many stories on a sister SW website! Marijo

Her name is Cinnamon and she loves nooks and closets. One morning, she was missing and my friend looked for her all over the house all day, later that evening she was found under the recliner (lounge chair) in the basement asleep.

Hum, she sounds peaceful - we have a terror but he is very interactive (rubs our thigh or behind like a dog when he wants a treat which is continually - purrs on us and is a LAP cat at 16#! go figure it would be Hooney who wants a lap when we have some kitties who are a mere 8 plus pounds....
