My closest friend is my husband. We've known each other since September of 1970 and been married since August of 1975. The why is a much harder question to answer ... it's long and complicated. He's there when I need him. He supports me in everything. He doesn't judge me. When I'm acting out, he has patience with me. When I'm upset he doesn't tell me I shouldn't feel that way. He allows me to be me and he loves me despite all my flaws. That's just some of it.

My sisters, I have 5, they are my closest friends. We were always able to confide, share and discuss family and other issues. My oldest sister is 73 and the youngest is 49. I am blessed.
