"Hypocrisy Is A Bitch. Ain't It?" was submitted today; why isnt that considered "cursing"?

I submitted SYMBOLS (E.G. %$#@) as a facsimile epithet and almost had my account closed by editors;Does editor hypocrisy rule on Searchwarp?

There are always two sides to a story.

I'll stand behind the editors until their side is heard. On your side, it appears you have a point.

My point is on the top of my head according to editors

Telling the whole story would violate our privacy policy, which I won't do. I would ask the question though, which is more offensive, calling a person, a race, and the Bible derogatory names or calling 'hypocrisy' a derogatory name? The first three violate our "be nice" policy, the last doesn't.

We don't want to offend anyone with YCA's article, we consider her to be an incredibly insightful writer, and we want to present her articles as she intends them to be presented. If you have any complaints, we would humbly accept them and take them into consideration.

I totally see and accept your point and I must agree. I have attacked my Jewish Old testament Bible most unfavorably with much heat and little light without being at all sensitive that people who weren't Jewish, as I am, would be insulted and offended. I have been much less than "nice" about this and I regret my insensitivity .

The discerning reader would realize that YCA's article title was not swearing. It's a good bet that most of her fans don't think so, either, and she has a lot of them.

it was the "B" word, not her many fans or her obvious superb writing that I questioned.

I have wrongly been caustic and thus clearly overstepped"nicety" rules in many communiques.

I have also been insensitive to peoples' belief systems, but I was accused of cursing and threatened with removal for cursing; for my violation of ' be nice' rules I was simply told, quote, "to lighten up" unquote, and I have and will.

My sole complaint query was about using curse words,on this site.

I submitted SYMBOLS (E.G. %$#@) as a facsimile epithet in one message of glowing praise for another writer and was told that my account would be closed by editors if I "cursed again"

There is places to vent anger but perhaps here is not it.

Anyway, I don't know the whole story and it is not in my interests to be mean to the lovely editors at SearchWarp. So I'm going to back off.

P.S shouting at the editors will not help you.

I am whining, not shouting and I am very grateful to editors et al for the opportunity to be part of this community,;don't misunderstand me.
