Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers. My husband and I were engaged at the time the song was popular and it brings back great memories.

I love Islands in the stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers that song is great when i put it on and listened to once it gets put on repeat and plays over an over again after that.

Dolly Parton wrote a host of great songs, but probably the most popular is "I Will Always Love You" , which was the theme tune of the film "The Body Guard".

She is also known for songs such as, "Jolene", "Eagle When She Flies".

However, there are a couple of beautiful songs that she has recorded either as a solo artisit or with others and my favourites are, - " Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Greatest Gift of All", that she sung with Kenny Rodgers.

She wrote, co-wrote and recorded so many great songs that it would be impossible in this community to even scratch the surface.

Silver and Gold is one of my favorites. Coat of Many Colors is another. She has done so many wonderful songs it is hard to pick just one.

Isn't that a contradiction in terms!! The Bodyguard theme song wasn't too bad but I prefer Whitney Houston's version, very powerful.
