Will you pray for the baby on life support?

Somewhere out there is baby "RB", whose father wants to keep on life support because he was born with a congenital defect that makes it difficult for the baby to breathe on his own. The doctors think it's time to withdraw life support. I was about to ask who thought what on the matter, but I think such a public question would be in bad taste. Instead, I propose we give our psychic support of this child in whatever ways we do it best, whether that is a prayer, a thought, a poem, a painting, or any mental expression of support.

Baby RB, my prayers are with you. May your parents and the doctors be enlightened as to the proper thing to do for you and with God's grace and blessings the burden will not be too heavy for your parents and life will be easier for you according to God's plan. Amen.

God,

thank you for all you have done for us. We ask that you bless baby "RB". We know that we don't always know your plans, but we ask that your will be done. Guide the parents and shower them with you grace. We know that you will never put more on you childeren than they can handle. I ask that you surround this family with a hedge of angels and give them peace and comfort and the knowlege that you alone are God and that you love us so much that you sent you son so that we can have everlasting life.
