The last I heard, opening a business in the Philippines was very inexpensive.

After the huge flooding disasters from the typhoons, I am not so certain anyone would want to invest in real estate. I do understand that a round-trip ticket is not much over $400.00 so it might be a place to visit as an adventure. I have a poet buddy from the Phillipines and have yet to hear from him to see if he and his family survived the disaster. I have been praying for them.
