First I identify it. Often times it is easy to become stressed without even becoming aware of it. So, once I identify that the stress is there I try to identify the cause. Generally, this is something in life that I am having difficulty accepting. So, once this is identified I give it to God. I try to accept life on life's terms and put things into their proper perspective. I try to accept life on God's terms. It is His universe, and He is just letting me barrow a portion of it for my short trip through this life. Finally, I try to always have an attitude of gratitude. I try to thank God every day for the gift of life, and for EVERYTHING that comes my way.

I go fishing. Very important after sticking my nose in a book for many hours on end, or reading pdf's online and writing papers. Sometimes bicycling, and sometimes snorkeling, looking for lobsters.

Humming your favourite song OR talk to God about whatsoever that makes you blue. Do not talk to human. They will double your stress.

HI Robert, - My wife is an Aromatherapist and I find that a nice relaxing bath with added essential oils of lavender or chamomile can be a great way of de-stressing or even just a quiet half-hour of meditation with soft music and the aroma of the above mentioned essential oils.

However, the real way to relax and completely de-stress is to follow the bath with a pleasant relaxing massage, which can lead to other very pleasant things!

I sit in my favorite chair and spend some time with my "ol" friend of 35 years. My friend has never let me down and probably never will. I'm always honest with my friend and my friend is always honest with me. We spend wonderful stress free hours together. My best friend. My guitar.

I breather very, very slowly and concentrate my mind on my inner energy and peace and forget waht's around. It works.

One of my best way for relieve stress is to go for Karaoke Session.

Just sing your favourite songs and get a few friends to sing with you. You will gradually forgotten about the trouble or stress that you have.

Playing a Video Game that gives a sense of progression relieves stress. It's something that gives you a sense of value and accomplishment that is lasting and challenging to create and maintain, but not life threatening like a new business, or risky sport.
