Tragedy In Georgetown Guyana

Posted Wednesday, January 30, 2008 (1 year 299 days ago.) Viewed 199 times.

If you have been watching the news you would have read where 11 people where slaughtered in there homes by ruthless killers.

The people of Lusignan, on the East Coast of Demerar have been burning tires in the middle of the road and blocking the roads in protest that the Governement of Guyana has not acted accordingly on investigation of these sad Killings.

Babies and Children were shot in their beds by animals. I say this to the protestors.

What happened in the horrible attack on the homes in Lusignan is very tragic indeed.

It is also a tragedy to see our own villagers out of control.

Where are our security forces at the time they are burning objects and blocking the road.

Creating havoc on the neighbors and the ordinary citizens forcing them to fear their lives if they travel the east coast is not the way to solve this problem.

The people of Guyana fear for their lives from the vengeance seeking people that are on the road trying to provoke the Government into doing something they are not capable of.

We have to have peace, and any crime needs time to solve. It is impossible to solve this case overnight and destroying the roads and preventing citizens from going to work because they fear their own neighbors more than they fear the murderers at this point.

Please people we know the government is not going to resolve these murders just because we scare the rest of the east coast with fires and destruction.

It has always been the right of the people of Guyana to remove the Government from office.

Do it peacefully and lawfully. Did Mark (you know which one) solve anything?

No, he server 5 years in prison, a waste of his life for nothing. Do the residents in lusignan think they can get the government to move any quicker doing this childishness?

Please people in the name of God, grant us peace on the east coast so we can continue our lives without the fear of our own neighbors destroying what we have left of our sanity.

This is a time of mourning, not a time for violence as it has not in the history of Guyana do anyone any good.

God will punish these criminals and even the ones that pretend not to be, but is hiding behind cloaks of the Government itself.

Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.

Be at peace my fellow Guyanese, we will move past this but we do not need anymore of this terrorism caused by our own friends on the road.

God Bless you all and Please be at Peace.

Condolences are what is needed here, not violence.

Love and Peace to everyone that can get past this without violence.

I Had the Honor To Go To Heaven and Return Home Again

Posted Wednesday, January 30, 2008 (1 year 299 days ago.) Viewed 221 times.

This is a true event.

I had a dream that I was in heaven, I was talking to my Mother and my Stepfather whom raised me.

At this time they are still alive. I do not understand why God let me come to heaven in the future.

I don't remember the details of the dream except for the part of talking with 2 people in my life, and we had a normal conversation like they were still alive, but I asked my mom why her and dad kept going away when we were young.

Although they never did, she told me it was so they could come to heaven, and sometimes they stayed longer than they should have.

Neither one of them has ever left us for any amount of time when we were children, so I guess this is just some meaningless thing that you get in your dreams.

Maybe it meant something, and I just don't know what.

I do know that I was dreaming, but I really believe that I went to Heaven because when I woke up, I was feeling so at peace, that I said thank you God for letting me see heaven and feel what it is like. I was wide awake when I said this to God.

I fell back to sleep and this time I dreamed that I told my mother this same story. So I basically double dreamed about visiting heaven, but in the future after my Mom and my Stepfather were dead.

I do not know the meaning of this dream. Although it was a dream, the feeling in my body was so joyful, that when I woke up, that the first thought was for me to thank God, And I Did.

I felt a joy and a happiness that I cannot explain with words. The peace that was with me in my mind was also so unusual, that I felt that I truly just came back from a scared place.

I wish that everyone in their lifetime, will get to experience what I did on January 30 th 2008.

I feel that since I have been to heaven that there is no reason to fear death as I know God was showing me that I will be there when I die and see my family after they die.

Did I die in my sleep so that I could see this, and Jesus raised me back up? I do not know.

I thank you My Lord for removing the fear from me, for now I know I will be living in your home when I die and will feel the same peace and happiness that I felt after I woke from my dream, and I will get to be with my family when they pass.

Windows Vista, Is it really worth the trouble?

Posted Saturday, February 17, 2007 (2 years 282 days ago.) Viewed 210 times.

I have read hundreds of articles about the new Windows Vista Operating System. After reading the pros and cons of what the public has to say, the Cons outweight the Pros by about 90%

Microsoft has come out with a supposedly super duper New Operating System, But everyone is having problems Installing it.

First you cannot have an Fat32 partition, it has to be NTFS. Second you have to have at least 11 Gigs, yes GIGS of space available in your operating sysem drive to Install it.

from what I have read, it even gives you a hard time upgrading and from Xp Pro to Windows Vista. Most users have to do a new install which wipes out all of your data if you do not back it up first.

Now most people just stick the disk in and expects it to upgrade with just a little waiting time an a few clicks to continue. Folks do not be fooled by this old technique.

Windows Vista does not recognize a lot of your hardware and if you do not have the drivers for you Modem, Graphics Card Etc, you are totally screwed. This is if you can even get it to install.

Now as you know, when windows comes out with a new OS, there is always an issue and a lot of debuggging to do.

It has to be tested by the public , You! The same people that are testing it are the same people that are crashing their computers. You You You!

Now as an intelligent human being, why would anyone pay all this money to upgrade to something they don't even know will out perform their current OS is beyond me.

I say to all of the readers that are considering upgrading, please wait until Microsoft can Guarantee a smooth upgrade and insure you that it will not crash your computer.

Personnally, You should go read up on it before you spend hundreds of dollars on something you do not need and take a chance on loosing data you do need!

In Summary, is it really worth it? you make the choice, but be forwarned. You already know your current Operating Sytem Works, do you really want Vista just to say you have it and to stay up with the Jone's?

Just Don't Forget Valentines Day, And its not just for lovers!

Posted Thursday, February 01, 2007 (2 years 297 days ago.) Viewed 84 times.

I write this article because it reminds me of Valentines Day 2004.

I had lived in Guyana, South America for 10 years and decided to go back home to the USA to see my family after so many years and to petition for my wife to get a Visa, so she could come and live in America.

I arrived in Arizona in June 2003 and stayed with my sister and her husband since she insisted I should.

The following Valentines Day was in 2004. I was working a 12 hour shift that day and got off work at 6:30 p.m.

Since my wife was overseas and I had already sent her a gift in advance, I thought to myself I should stop at the Florist and buy my sister a Dozen Red Roses as I knew her husband never buys her gifts.

When I arrive home she went crazy about the flowers and looked at her husband and told him

"So this is why you only gave me a candy bar for Valentines Day, You must have called my brother and told him to pick up the Roses for me" Now I got Chocolates and Flowers !

He looked at me and I said nothing so he accepted it as a gift from me for saving his life and said " Yes I called him today"

My Sister was so happy because before I returned to the USA her husband never ever remembered Valentines day.

I of course never told her otherwise.

One day about 6 months later she told me she knew the Roses were from me, but wanted to see if her husband would become more considerate.

She said it was the first time anyone has bought her flowers for the whole 10 years I was gone so it wasn't hard to figure out that it was me and my ideal to buy them.

Lesson to all inconsiderate husbands, Please remember no matter how long you are married, Your wife does expect you to remember her on that special day for lovers.

If you forget for so many years, do not take credit for someone elses love.

My sister never told her husband that she knew he lied. (this is a true story) He never changed and I guess he never will. Oh, and they are still married!
