The Top Three Grow Mediums Pt.2 This is where the rubber meets the road. I don't believe in bad soil-less mix.I wanted to cover a little about the three soil-less mixes that I know will bring you great results. I talked lastly about the Ready-Grow Moisture Formula that is pretty expensive to purchase is you have a large number of clones or seedlings to plant. This depends on the type of grow container used. This could be i to 2 watering 's daily if you use a three gallon white plastic bags with holes punched into the bottom for drainage. This bag can be purchased black or white.I prefer White on the outside and black on the inside. I have sever grows under my belt with the three gallon Black perforated holes for drainage and the bags sit straight. I decided to go with the 1 Gallon white bags for my smaller plants that don't get over three feet tall the 1 gallons saves material for soil, water, and nutrients. This crop is watered every other day with the ROOTS ORGANICS .I have 24 plants in one gallon plastic bags that are 6 rows of 4 in each roll in my 63x63x6x3 Grow Tent with Co2 Boost. This coco/fiber/coir,repeatedly washed for an incredible low EC,composted for over twenty-four months, especially blended with extra long fibers, perlite, and pumice. Lightly amended with a starter charge of organic fertilizers like bat guano, worm castings, and kelp, this mix is designed for heavy feeding and high performance in containers or hydroponic applications. Encourages healthier plants and heavier yields.Roots Organics Soil 1.5cf. Here is another that I like very much is Sunshine Mix 4 aggregate Mix #4 is recommended where high air capacity and fast drainage are needed during winter months with highly water or salt sensitive crops, where frequent leaching is required. Mix #4 contains Canadian Sphagnum peat moss, perlite, major and minor nutrients gypsum. Diplomatic limestone and our long lasting wetting agent 3.8 cu ft . The last and the one my favorites that I have used for several crops is the FOX-FARM Ocean Forrest where organic ingredients play such a large role. The 14th day I would place my well-rooted clone in a 16oz Styrofoam cut with first thing to do is be sure to fill cup half full Light Warrior Grow Medium . The ultimate grow medium for seed starting and transplanting. This medium is packed with beneficial microbes to stimulate root growth and fast fertilizer up take-home acid to help in seed germination, and earthworm castings to help plans thrive. This is the perfect quick draining, lightweight, will cause super fast germination. Transfer each clone cube that is rooted score each side after turning up-side down to press firmly and out pops the clone .The clone should come out in good condition without to much being disturbed. This is the time you want to add your roots section into an EN Earth Nectar & EA Ambrosia. Ingredients: Bacterial dominated compost, whole Seaweed, Extract of Seaweed, Earthworm castings, fulvic Acid and cultured Humus. You will want to mix one pat of each this helps your uptake of nutrients you repeat every three weeks. Ok you have inoculated the plants, and know its time to start them off right with the Organic fertilizer Plant Success Granular. I t come in a container like an herbs you can sprinkle some of this powerful Mycorrhizae, a bio-stimulate you can also sprinkle on some seeds. Our growers have spoke highly on how fast the clones take off after using Thrive Alive one drop per gallon. It has hormones and B1 vitamins, trace mineralsetc Its time to make the decision of what type of container to use: We started doing a little research on which type of container would fit my needs in a 7676x76.That looks like two 33 tables we are working with Stay in tune and find how to set up and fill the 1 gallon grow bags with the correct amount of dolomite lime, bat Guano,(phosphorous) Sea Bird Guano, and some green sand. You can use so course more course Big Chunky Perlite for more drainage if you need to water daily the course will break down to smaller and creates a very well drain to where you can actually get a test of your run off with a small vile to check the plants pH..Get yourself a small ear plunger and check run off with your soil tester to see which color on the chart the water you extracted shows the color is the color code you need to be buffered to 7 %. I am really sold on this mix. I will talk about a few more soil mixes for top feeding in my next Blog. My first Ready-Gro Botananicare Indoor crop that was very nice. They used the top of the line Moisture Formula. It's specially build in mind for outdoors. It contains more coir fiber and pumice stones than the aeration formula, giving plants enhanced moister for longer durations between feedings. It feels moist but still aerated enough to where it doesn't stick together. Very pleasant fell to it. Stay tuned I will be talking about another well known and used to its potential grown in Oregon and a very good mix. Do you find yourself choking and gagging, it tasted terrible, irritated your throat so much that you need a Hauls cough drop to sooth the harsh taste and the same for the aroma cloud of real nasty chemicals? One of the reason that I read in a magazine about all the heavy amounts of Phosphorus that go in bloom so it would be wise to ask in your dispensary if they their plants were feed with the correct amount of phosphorus using Advance Nutrients . I f you want your buds tipping the scales in weight. The good news is researchers found combination of specialized nutrients, plant and mineral extracts, root enhancers, vitamins, inoculates, Growth & Bloom, growth and consistently produce higher quality and very sweat smelling that leaves you in a very wonderful aroma that hangs like a large cloud. I Had this on my mind because everyone adding so many harsh chemicals that is bad for the consumer and the run off. A lot of nutrient companies are harming with a large amount of ammonium this has been analyzed and the study shows from the Advanced Nutrients for the correct ratio of a macro and micro make a huge difference in the taste and the smell. Advanced Nutrients formulas were tested and the University of Mississippi says that they it also increased the THC percentages by 40% while increasing plant and bud biomass by 21% compared .I like to know actually what type of quality smoke can I produce this is what keeps me going and lowering the cost at the dispensary of what I would have had to pay have to pay for the full price.Time to learn and make it project of learning & fun. I don't know about everyone else but Advanced Nutrients has four products that I use each and every crop. A woman came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find her 5-year old son waiting for her at the door. SON: 'Mummy, may I ask you a question?' MUM: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the woman. SON: 'Mummy, how much do you make an hour?' MUM: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the woman said angrily. SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?' MUM: 'If you must know, I make $20 an hour' SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down. SON: "Mummy, may I please borrow $5?" The mother was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.' The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door. The woman sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the woman had calmed down, and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $5 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The woman went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. 'Are you asleep, son?' She asked. 'No Mummy, I'm awake,' replied the boy. 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the woman. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $5 you asked for.' The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you Mummy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The woman saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his mother. 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the mother grumbled. 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. 'Mummy, I have $20 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.' The mother was crushed. She put his arms around her little son, and she begged for his forgiveness. It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $20 worth of your time with someone you love. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. Please don't break this even if you only send it to one person.
