As long as you live, there is life. You cease to live, life is non-existent. This is an undisputed truth. In other words, it is the philosophy of life. This is the root of the meanings and interpretations. Man is a social animal. From time immemorial, he always lived in a society. This society is made of his kind and himself. His very own society framed rules and regulations. Man lived within this framework. Even today, it is carried on. Some may call this a constrained living. Restricted freedom kills charm of living. This is not life. Then, what is life? A million dollar question! Besides a daily routine and two square meals with no other activity demeans life. Life loses its meaning, absolutely. One single day in our life is devoted to the welfare of fellow human beings will make us understand the essence of life. Now on, it is meaning of life, according to me. Self centered and selfish life has no meaning. Rather, it does have meaning; it is I, me, and I….!! Life is living for others. Help the needy; their progress gives meaning to your life. Giving emotional and physical support to old and sick people is a meaning by itself. The satisfaction derived gives a different interpretation to living. Destitute homes and orphanages shake our entire system. ‘Each one adopts one’ will work wonders on those ‘less fortunate’ lives. Seeing them grow and live in the main stream of society will make you proud. Our lives achieve a new hall mark in its meaning. Last but not the least, as ‘charity begins at home’, so is service to humanity. Begin with your own family and start building extended families and serve them too. As mentioned earlier, living gives meaning to life. Life by itself has no identity. Quality of living determines its meaning. Meaningless living has nothing to offer life. Living with a good purpose gives a goal to life. Life cannot have a better meaning. Service to humanity gives the best meaning to life.

Ragging differs slightly from rigging. ‘A’ and ‘I’ does the differentiating! Ragging is a collegers’ crime. Rigging is a politicians’ grime. Both invite penalty and imprisonment. But laws are not stringent. Rag and rig are punishable offence. Under the mat is lots of defence?! Loopholes in law accommodate these. To escape and slip; free and loose.
Students tease and play rough jokes on. Politicians engage in fraud and fowl; Fair play is missing and gone. One is the cause of quite a few suicides and dropouts. Another is a reincarnate of plunder and murder; Leader of shootouts.
Students make the new generation. Getting ready to take over the nation. They will cross over reckless youth; this is for sure. Will politicians atone for their sins and cleanse politics? Never. Citizens are very clear. Politicians are irremovable blot and smear. Students are dear. Keep them away; politicians must be nowhere near.
Future of nation rests on students. Save them from those ‘ratty’ rodents. Last but not the least; ragging is a curable. Rigging is a abhorring, crass and abominable. In short, is incurable.
