World of Warcraft Tips and GuidesWoW King (1,190) ![]() World of Warcraft Alliance Leveling Guide - Tips on Powerleveling your Alliance Character in World of WarcraftPosted Saturday, October 20, 2007 (2 years 20 days ago.) Viewed 779 times. Here are some tips on how to quickly level your World of Warcraft Alliance character to level 60 and beyond in the least amount of game time. 1 - Since leveling is the most important thing, only take First Aid as a profession. Running back and forth to profession trainers is time consuming. So is getting enough resources in your inventory to make use of the profession. Instead, use that time for questing and building experience. First Aid requires cloth and is a profession that has immediate benefits after battles. Make some bandages and get moving again. 2 - Use Auto Run when possible. It is amazing what you can do while you are using Auto Run. Make a sandwich. Rearrange your inventory. Carry on a chat conversation with someone. Use your travel time as wisely as possible. 3 - Make sure your ammo supplies are topped off before you leave town. If you use arrows or bullets, make sure you have plenty to survive on until the next time you go back to town. There's nothing worse than a Hunter leaving town, having a few battles, and then coming back because he forgot to stock up on arrows before he left. Topping off your supplies might take a little extra time, but it will save travel time if you have to run back to town. 4 - Make sure equipment is fully repaired before leaving town. Another big pain is going on a quest far from town and then finding your main weapon is in need of repair. Get it repaired before you leave town. 5 - Destroy inventory items to save trips to town. If you are far from town and have a full inventory, it's not against any rule to destroy items to free up room. Try not to destroy items needed for quests. Permalink Comments (0) Is Joanas Horde Leveling Guide the Best Horde Leveling Guide for World of Warcraft?Posted Saturday, October 20, 2007 (2 years 20 days ago.) Viewed 485 times. I have a confession to make. As a World of Warcraft player, sometimes it can be seen as a sign of weakness to get outside help. That is why I am a little embarrassed to say that I picked up Joanas Horde Leveling Guide. I had heard good things about this guide with many people saying it was the most complete horde leveling guide around. I doubted their claims, but finally found myself checking it out more and more. Temptation overwhelmed me and I gave in. So what did I think of Joanas Horde Leveling Guide? Is it the complete horde leveling guide that everyone says it is? Joanas Horde Leveling Guide was written by Joana or Mancow as others know him. He has set records on multiple servers for being the fastest to reach level 60. After checking out his horde leveling guide, I know why. Not only does the guide go indepth with how to power level a horde character, Joana also provides video support of his journey. I was able to watch him go from 0-60 as if I was looking over his shoulder while he was playing. The video quality is very good. Having the videos alone would justify picking up Joanas Horde Leveling Guide, but I kept finding more and more good stuff inside. Joana broke down the quest for each horde race. Someone starting as an Orc, like myself, would get just as much use out of the guide as someone that wanted to start as an Undead or Tauren. Joanas guide also has a section for the new Blood Elf race as well. It was recently updated with Burning Crusade information covering levels 60-70. Needless to say, I have been very impressed with Joanas Horde Leveling Guide. While I am still a little anxious about announcing that I am using it, I feel the value it adds makes it the best WoW Horde Leveling Guide available. It tops other Horde Leveling Guides by providing amazing detail in terms of quests and leveling tips. There are also specific tips for the hunter class as well. Joanas Horde Leveling Guide is the most complete Horde Leveling Guide available to date. I wish I had picked it up sooner. My Horde leveling is going faster than ever before thanks to this guide. Here is a small Draenei Leveling Guide. It contains information on the first few Draenei quests as well as the order in which to perform the quests. I used the Shaman class for this guide. Start with the "You Survived quest". Go to the crash and turn it in. You'll get "Replenishing the Healing Crystals". Pick up "Volatile Mutations" near the tent. Go North and kill Vale Moths. You should be able to complete your quests and reach level 2. Go South to turn in "Volatile Mutations" and get "What Must be Done". Pickup "Botanical Legwork" nearby. Head to the ship and turn in "Replenishing the Healing Crystals". You'll get "Urgent Delivery" next. Further in, you can turn in "Urgent Delivery" and get "Rescue the Survivors". While you are here, go to the trainer, in this case Shaman, and complete a small quest to get some experience. Leave via the south exit so you can pick up "Spare Parts" and "Incoulation". Heat east. Be on the lookout for a Draenei lying on the ground. You can use your Racial ability to heal them. Go south to Ammen Fields and kill the mutated root lashers that are hanging around. Also be looking out for corrupted flowers around here so you can take care of "Botanical Legwork". Go turn in "Botanical Legwork" and "What Must be Done". Get "Healing the Lake" next. Go inside and turn in "Rescue the Survivors" Head towards Silverline Lake and find the big crystal. Touch the crystal to get "Disperse the Neutralizing Agent". Go east and hot key the Inoculating Crystal. Use the crystal on the yellow named mookin to finish "Inoculation". You can probably find enough spare parts to complete the "Spare Parts" quest. Grind a few mobs until you reach 4. Hearth back to the crash site. That concludes this portion of the Draenei Leveling Guide. I hope you've found it helpful and your Draenei gets off to a quick start. Still can't get your Draenei out of Azure Watch? There are many ways to make gold in World of Warcraft. Some involve the auction house, some involve grinding, and some involve using professions to make valuable items. Derek’s Gold Mastery Guide has tips for many of these situations. One such gold making tip involves going into instances using stealth tactics. Derek’s Gold Guide refers to these as Stealth Runs. This tip is best used by Rogues and Druids, but it can used by anyone provided they have a means of staying out of sight. The main purpose of the Stealth Run is to sneak past all of the minions and lesser mobs assembled at the beginning of the instance and go directly to the boss character at the end. The group then takes out the boss and gets all of his loot without having to go through his flunkies first. According to Derek’s Gold Mastery Guide, one of the best instances in World of Warcraft for Stealth Runs is Dire Maul. Derek recommends a group of 2-3 characters for this run. He also states that using the mining profession can really increase the gold flow as there are veins of Thorium ore contained within the instance. These can be mined and sold at the auction house for a pretty nice price. The real treasure from the Dire Maul Stealth Run is the loot from killing the boss. This loot can be used by the characters or sold at the auction house for a nice return. It’s easy to see why this can be a productive instance to farm for gold. Derek’s Gold Guide says there are other instances that will open up with the Burning Crusade expansion that will allow for stealth runs as well. Keep an eye out for these as they can be great sources of gold and loot with minimal time and energy investment. Want to see a WoW character with over 27,000 gold? The Auction House in World of Warcraft is one of the best places to make a lot of gold. Unfortunately, many players do not know how to properly use the Auction House to their advantage. Check out these tips from Valkor’s Gold Making Guidefor improving your Auction House returns 1 - Always set a buyout - Think of the Auction House like Ebay. You know how you can use the Buy it Now feature on Ebay to buy something immediatly? The buyout feature in the Auction House works the same way. The main reason for setting a buyout price is that it encourages someone to purchase now instead of waiting for their bid to end. This reduces relisting fees and helps you sell items quicker. 2 - Buyout Price Undercutting - a sneaky trick, but completely legit. Before listing your item, check to see what the other buyout prices are set to for the same item. As long as they aren't totally out of whack, set your buyout price just a little lower. This will ensure your item sells faster because a) you have a buyout and b) it's the lowest one available. If someone wants your item now, they can get it and save gold too! What's not to like about that deal 3 - Don't use Round numbers for starting bids - Have you noticed that when the Auction House assigns a default value to your item that it's never 25 gold, but something like 24 gold and 31 silver? Setting your starting bid to something similar makes buyers think the Auction House valued the item at that level and it's really worth it. There you have it. Three Auction House tips. I know some of them are pretty simple, but you'll be amazed at the number of people who don't use them. Take the extra time and put the steps into action. You'll start getting more gold from your auctions and truly utilizing the Auction House to your full advantage. Want more Auction House tips? Check out Valkor's Gold Making Guide. It's the best Auction House guide available and offers 100% legit ways to make more money from the Auction House. It also has 17 gold farming locations that are available to players of all levels.
