Eye Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for Eye Cream

Posted Thursday, April 09, 2009 (229 days 11 hours ago.) Viewed 55 times.

Do you ever wonder what kind of first impression you give people?  Do you know what people look at to formulate their first impression?  If you don't know that answer, listen up.  The answer is your EYES.  Your eyes are the focal point of your face, and the first thing people look at when they meet you.  Your eyes can give off a warm, sincere welcome, or they can scare people off by giving the notion that you are too tired to be interested in whatever you met to discuss.

If you find yourself on the wrong side of first impressions, you should pay more attention to your eyes.  Do you have dark circles under your eyes?  Do you have puffy eyes?  Do you experience bags under the eyes on occasion?  If you answered yes to any of those questions, you need to start using an eye cream. Eye creams can address all of these common traits and many more if you use it as a daily application to the under-eye area.

Eye creams not only fight the aforementioned common eye area problems, but they also provide essential moisture to your skin under the eyes and work to rejuvenate the skin.  The under-eye skin gets thinner as you age, and requires more attention than skin on other parts of the body.  That is why you should literally scream for eye cream!

When the skin thins under the eye area, the area puffs out and looks bulged, sort of like a frog.  This is because the skin has lost it's plumpness and elasticity.  As you age, this is normal.  However, application of an eye cream is a good head start in fighting this if you address it at an early age.  If you start applying an eye cream before the age of 30, you can essentially stave off wrinkles and other under-eye defects that make you look tired and fatigued.

Many dermatologists suggest to address the under-eye area starting at a young age in order to prevent future problems.  It's much easier to prevent eye problems than it is to correct them, most people agree.

For these reasons, it's important to take care of the eyes with the best eye cream you can find.  Many eye creams are now formulated with gaba and other potent ingredients that can effectively moisturize the area and stave off wrinkles.  Do your due diligence when looking for an eye cream and always look for one that is made according to the latest health codes and regulations.

Wrinkle Prevention Starts Early in Life

Posted Sunday, March 29, 2009 (240 days 15 hours ago.) Viewed 62 times.

Wrinkles are pesky, nasty lines that start growing on your face and take over your skin's well being. Wrinkles can be small, or they can be large. They can be sporadic, or concentrated. One thing most people agree is that wrinkles are not fun to look at or have for anyone. Wrinkle prevention starts early in life. There are ways you can avoid wrinkles, and even ways you can fight wrinkles you already posess. Heed to the following advice in order to prevent wrinkles from starting to accumulate on your face.

Avoid the sun at all costs. I'm not saying you have to sit inside in a dark, secluded cave. Rather, make sure you don't allow things to escalate by being around the sun too much on a constant basis. The sun has harmful UV rays and it's not an overall good thing for your skin to be around the sun. If you do find yourself living in a state with a lot of sun, make sure you protect your skin with a high-spf sunblock. Blocking the suns harmful rays can really be of advantage to you and help keep your skin young and fresh.

If you are in the sun, after you apply your sunblock, make sure you take care of your eyes. Wrinkles form around the eyes rather easily as well. Wear sunglasses should you be in the sun, and apply an eye serum if you are older then age 30 or see wrinkles forming around the corner of the eyes at any state in life.

Avoid squinting. Squinting actually accelerates wrinkle growth and formation. Squinting not only expands the wrinkles you have, but it makes it easier for future wrinkles to start growing on your face. Squinting is common for people who look at the sun without sunglasses, adding further importance to wearing proper eye protection.

Apply an anti-aging skin cream or lotion starting at adolescence. Anti-aging creams can come in all sorts of forms, colors, and applications. Eye serums are good for around the eye area, and wrinkle creams for the neck and jaw line. Eye serums are applied twice per day and are an effective way to get rid of dark circles under the eyes and even eliminate the fine lines that start at the corner of the eyes.

Overall, you should also include antioxidants in your diet plan. They not only help the skin rejuvenate, but they contain ingredients that will help your skin naturally be replenished with the proper nutrients. Foods like vegetables, nuts, and berries are all good foods containing high levels of antioxidants.

How to Have Fun at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival

Posted Wednesday, February 25, 2009 (272 days 11 hours ago.) Viewed 14 times.

So, your lucky enough to have the time and money to visit the South Beach Wine & Food Festival?  Lucky you!  It's a great event I rarely miss when I am in Miami in February.  I had the chance to enjoy it this year, and thought that after seeing a lot of bad manners and people that looked out of place, it was best if I could write a few pointers to some people, so they can enjoy themselves and fit in with the ultra-cool South Beach crowd.

First off, I have to say what a great time the festival is.  It really does bring together a lot of nice people.  Super-chefs like Bobby Flay, Emeril Legasse, and Rachel Ray all in one place, I felt like I was in heaven!  To best enjoy the time, you must sample the wine!  That is the best advice I can pass on to anyone who hasn't been there yet.  It's a wine tasting, but the other stuff there, like the food, the fashion, and the music, are all just out of this world.

Even if you are not a wine person, it's a great time.  To be able to sample so many great dishes from around the world and South Beach, it's just tremendous.  Do yourself a big favor, and try food from all of the different exhibitors.  They are there because they care, and they want you to enjoy their food so you frequent their restaurants and buy their frozen food in your supermarket.

Go ahead and ask questions.  These people are there for you.  They care about your tastes, and if you dislike something, they ask why.  Is it the texture, is it the freshness?  They really get in-depth with the whole thing.  It's a great time to see such hard-to-reach people right there in the open.

Some tips I have, if you haven't been there before.  Dress up a little bit.  Don't go grungy or wear any sports memorabilia, or you won't fit in style-wise.  It's casual but elegant.  If you haven't washed your face, do it. People tend to be on the above thirty side at this event, all the way up to the seniors who slap on wrinkle cream every time they turn around, but they all seem to have tremendous skin, and that's because they take care of it.

Use manners.  If you are rude to people, you will be asked to leave.  Sure, there are people who go to get drunk, but nobody is mosh-pitting around the beach.  It's simply not cool at this event.

So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the wine's in gorgeous South Beach.  It's a great time had by all.  Just make sure you drink a lot of water if you plan on drinking a lot of wine!

How to Deal With Stress

Posted Saturday, February 14, 2009 (283 days 11 hours ago.) Viewed 18 times.

Stress comes in many forms. We all go through it in some point of our lives. Job stress, stress of family matters, financial stress, or just overall stress from having too many tasks on our plate at one given point in time can really put us in a bad emotional setting.

Stress is derived from anything that perturbs us. There are ways to treat it, you just have to focus on what is going good in life and try to put yourself in a "happy place." Many people will say " take a chill pill man ." Well, now it's that easy. You can take a chill pill. You can buy pills online that fight stress. Do a Google search for " best anxiety pill" and you should get some results coming up that review anxiety pills. Choose one that you feel suits your symptoms. Take that down with eight ounces of water and lie down for a while.

Other ways you can deal with stress are working out, sleeping, or traveling. Getting your mind in another state of mind can alleviate the signs of stress. You need to separate yourself from the source of stress to be totally away from it. Working out can cause sweat, and get rid of the toxins in your body. Also, you think of your routine instead of the root of the stress. Sleeping puts you away from all mental thoughts and gets you away for awhile. Traveling can occupy your mind with other thoughts and get your mind into new situations, where you will forget all about the stresses you were thinking of before your trip.

Stress is normal, but in large doses is sometimes not healthy. People make rash decisions and are often irritant when they are stressed out. Be sure to consult a doctor if stress is controlling your life and if the above stress fighting techniques don't work.
