Resolutions, What do you think of when you think of this word?
Resolve, what are you resolving to do this year? What changes are you determined to finally make a part of your life during 2007? How do you know that you will stick with your resolutions and succeed at making the necessary changes?
Evergreen, an Evergreen tree is always green. It is a symbol of that which lives forever and which is always constant. In order to succeed at making your resolutions a success, you must be like the evergreen tree and stay constant and focused.
Solutions, what solutions will you develop for when you are having difficulties sticking to your goals and resolutions? These must be clear, focused and specific if you are going to experience success.
Obedient, it is very important that you resolve to be obedient to yourself, and to your principles and values in order to obtain success with your resolutions. Going against what you know to be true will only hurt you in the long run.
Love, do you truly love what you are resolving to do or those whose lives you are seeking to change? If not, you will struggle with your resolutions, for love is the base of all success.
Unbreakable, are your resolutions truly solid and are you truly committed to seeing that you are successfully and that you keep them no matter what? If not, what will it take for you to change this?
Time, have you established a time frame by which each of your resolutions will be completed? Simply saying, I will do this sometime during 2007 is not sufficient. All goals and resolutions must have a specific deadline by which they will be completed.
Interest, do you have a true desire and interest in your resolutions? Or are you setting them in order to please someone else? Your resolutions must be truly yours and you must truly be interested in succeeding or you will fail.
Obsessed, For many of your resolutions this is vital to your success. Weight loss is a great example of a goal with which you must be obsessed in order to experience success.
Nailed, just like a nail, which firmly and securely attaches a picture to a wall, your resolutions must be firmly and securely attached to you. You must be 100% committed and focused to your success. You must also make them a vital part of your life.
Success, will be yours if you follow the rules above and if you have made your resolutions specific and focused enough and if your desire is strong enough.
