As a multiplayer game World of Warcraft as so different form the normal real time strategy war games or any other aspects of the old Warcraft games.
As with any MMORPG such as Everquest player control a character within an ever changing game world! You get to explore the landscapes do the quest s and kill monsters all the while becoming more powerful until you reach level 60. There is also a wide array of computer controlled players but you don’t really need them there has you will find plenty of people to interact with as the game has more then 3 million subscribers!
The game itself is immense and it will help you greatly if you get your and on a good guide to World of Warcraft. The more missions you do and monsters you fight you will be rewarded with XP or experience and eventually level up which means you will become stronger!
You probably won’t need a guide to world of warcraft in the early stages as many quest and monsters can be conquered quite easily, it is only as you start to level up that the game takes form and does become quite difficult. It really does help if you can get a good guide to World of Warcraft! If you do not you might find the game very frustrating.
In my opinion the game areas of World of Warcraft are designed for a higher level character as there are plenty of raids and dungeons that you can visit but you will need to be a suitable level to conquer them.
The game doesn’t end when you get to level 60 either but the game play does change a lot and you will find that you will have to defend villages and the cities against other players! This is called PVP (Player VS Player) and brings new light to game and can be very fun and entertaining!
You can also do large PvE (Player vs. environment) quests at a higher level and this is great fun as you will take on huge monsters and dragons in a big group of players. Also because of the huge damage monsters at level 60 can inflict you will find it beneficial to get a good Guide to World of Warcraft so you will know where to get the best armour and weapons.

The Burning Crusade expansion pack is on its way as well so there has been no better time to get to level 60 as quick as you can! This game will keep on getting bigger and better so pick up a good Guide to World of Warcraft and start levelling fast!
