What are the very first sounds or spoken words you can remember from early in your life? Twinkle, twinkle little star? Remember the chills in your spine, you felt, when they played this little kid song as Neil Armstrong walked on the moon for the very first time?

How few things in life have the emotional power of sound that can be experienced when we make our Stephen King audio book time that makes us feel like our emotions and senses are truly alive and well? The next generation of sound has developed from the first recordings by Thomas Edison of, Mary Had a Little Lamb on a crude cylinder, to LP records, to 45, 78 and 33 rpm records.

Then came stereo, tapes and 8 tracks. Each one brought us to new realms. Would anyone of believed that in our life times we would be using terms and phrases like mp3, ipod or download a speaking book of a favorite novel of ours?

What a beautiful day has dawned for us. Those of us who are blind can listen to the author Stephen recordings, it we like to be scared out of our wits a lot. Remember how you used to like to go on the roller coaster rides over and over even though you were a little scared by them? Aside from being pleasantly scared you get to listen to the thrilling genius of one of the great natural authors of our time.

If we are truck drivers we can improve our dramatic and horror book knowledge and enjoyment by listening to the brilliant works of this fine author. We can carry him along, with us, on mp3 recordings. One of the most important points is that we will be entertained. Our riding partners can remain more alert with us and be less bored.

When we know we are going to have a long wait somewhere, maybe at a hospital or doctor office, we can take along an ipod to listen to Stephen. Listen to the charming or actually terrifying sounds of Cujo. Every time you hear the jingle, jingle of a choke collar chain when you are walking outside, you will never be the same. The hair on the back of your neck will stand out, even if only a little. Enjoy life and thrill to the drama of it in the smallest things, like this.

Keep up to date with his latest moving novels as they move from being powerful written words and become powerful spoken words. Experience the sound of popular speakers, with dramatic voices, speaking their own novels and true tales from their very own lips.

A whole now world of sound awaits you on the inter net now. It is a new age and level of entertainment and learning that awaits us. A new level of interest to take away the boredom of long waits and long drives with the development of sound tools like the ipod, cd, mp3 and the exciting audio book. The new sound of the written word has come alive with the dawn of the preserved spoken word.
