What are the very first sounds or spoken words you can remember from early in your life? Twinkle, twinkle little star? Remember the chills in your spine, you felt, when they played this little kid song as Neil Armstrong walked on the moon for the very first time?
How few things in life have the emotional power of sound that can be experienced when we make our Stephen King audio book time that makes us feel like our emotions and senses are truly alive and well? When we know we are going to have a long wait somewhere, maybe at a hospital or doctor office, we can take along an ipod to listen to Stephen. Listen to the charming or actually terrifying sounds of Cujo. Every time you hear the jingle, jingle of a choke collar chain when you are walking outside, you will never be the same. The hair on the back of your neck will stand out, even if only a little. Enjoy life and thrill to the drama of it in the smallest things, like this.
