More and more people these days are discovering the fun of video games played at home on consoles and massive multiplayer online video games and computer games. Some people sit for hours on the weekend or in the evening playing these games, and there are huge tournaments devoted to the pursuit of virtually blowing up other people.

Marathon gaming sessions can be a lot of fun, but they also place a lot of strain on the body. Sitting in one position for hours at a time with very little movement can strain the back and shoulders, not to mention the pain in the arms and hands from holding your controller for so long.

There's no good remedy for hand strain other than taking breaks from destroying your enemies, but when it comes to the body aches associated with long periods of gaming, there is a solution: picking a different chair. Next-generation beanbag chairs like the Comfy Sack, Foof Chair and LoveSac are a perfect choice for gamers because they give needed support while also being incredibly comfortable.

These foam chairs are different from the bean bag chairs of old. Instead of being filled with those noisy, crunchy Styrofoam pellets that leak out all over the floor, these chairs are stuffed with furniture-grade foam for extra comfort and durability, but they keep the classic beanbag shape, allowing users to sit or lie however they like.

Because the foam is incredibly supportive, it puts no pressure at all on the body, so no matter how or how long you sit playing your favorite video games, you'll feel a lot more comfortable than you do sitting on a traditional couch. Gamers who have used these foam chairs rate them even higher than chairs that were designed for long-term gaming—they're just that comfortable.

The Comfy Sack in particular has been cited by gaming magazines as the ultimate choice for marathon gamers, and this beanbag chair is actually used at some gaming tournaments so that fatigue is not a factor in the scoring of the games.

If you're planning the perfect game room or simply love gaming and want to have the best chair possible for your favorite hobby, invest in a foam chair. These aren't your grandma's beanbag chairs, and they'll get you through many hours of gaming (or watching movies, or television, or whatever else you do in front of your television) with ease and comfort.

Comfy Sacks sells ultra comfortable foam bag chairs that are very popular in home theaters and college dorm rooms. They are the perfect alternative to the uncomfortable couch you have used for years.
