Exercises to lose belly fat can be easy and most importantly fun. As your most probably aware by now belly fat can be an extremely stubborn pest to get rid of. But there are steps you can take that will have a tremendous impact on belly fat and most importantly your health.

Aerobic exercises are by far the most productive weapon you can use to tackle your belly fat problem head on. You don’t need to be an athletic to start taking important steps to improve your health but you do need both discipline and honest determination that you do want to do something about it.

The following exercises are my top 3 exercises to lose belly fat are very powerful in terms of fighting your belly fat problem. You should be looking to do your aerobic exercise for between 20-40mins, and try to fit this into your daily routine, everyday if you can.

1.Walking - especially on surfaces such as sand, fields or woodland. Tarmac is ok, but can be a bit boring and you should take extra care to wear well cushioned trainers to protect your joints.

2.Swimming - I highly recommend swimming, as well as working your body and burning plenty of calories this exercise has no impact on your joints.

3.Aerobic Videos - get yourself a good aerobic video, this can be done in your own home if your a bit shy and don't like exercising in public. It can also be a lot of fun.

It also important to note that exercises to lose belly fat are not the only answer but rather a very useful string in your bow. You should also be concentrating on eating a healthy balanced diet.

If your not used to eating healthily then finding the will power to change your habits can be very difficult at first. If you can get over the first couple of weeks it really then just starts to become a lot easier.

Swimming is one of the three ways to lose body fat but I have always heard that although swimming is a great exercise for general overall conditioning, especially breathing, it is not an effective way to lose weight.

Actually, swimming does help you lose weight...maybe even more than any other activities. I have my own personal experiences to back this up. I went from weighing 225 to 193 in 3 months because of swimming. Right after I stopped I ended up gaining 40 pounds.

I'm a banker who has to work atleast 12-14 hours a day in the office, due to which I've got lil tummy(not too much though) . I go for a walk in the morning 1/2 n hour and do some skipping(around 100) in the mornings. Can someone tell is that enough to keep my beely not growing further an also to reduce it.

Well first, you are not alloying your body to get enough rest though out the day. Not getting enough sleep will take toll on your body; which makes your body crave for something to eat, because you are up so long. If you can add a little more time to your walk, and eat small meals you will see some changes in your belly. Also drink plenty of water, and lay off the soda's and dairy products.

I'm only 16 so its a little hard to make a balanced diet for myself seeing as how i dont buy my own food. if i do regular exercise and cut out sodas and junk food, do you think i will be able to lose my belly fat? or is there something else i should do?

what i find hard, is i have never been an eater, i really dont like food.. i eat about 1000-1500 cals a day. i dont skip out on eating my means, even tried eating 5 small meals a day. i worked out like crazy, i went for a walk 7 days a week 45 min each, did some excercises for 45 min a day, i did my stretches every day. i stopped drinkin soda, stopped eating junk which i didnt eat a lot of anyways. i did everything i was supposed to do or should do, drank lots of water. the whole nine. i actually gained 10 lbs in the 2 months i did this. went to my dr and got tests done, and my metob is normal, everything is normal. so does anyone else have any ideas of what i could do? i am active, single mom so i keep up on house work and we have lots of fruit in house and everything i am very big on healthy eating for my lil one. i have tried eating more and i gained more weight, even with working out.. if i dont work out i stay the same weight. i am 265lb now. i even get enough sleep and the bf keeps my busy on weekends if you know what i mean.. so any advice would be perfect. e-mail if you can respond to me there is mamajay08 at the hot spot. ty all

did you try getting a blood test yet to determine if you may have a problem with your thyroid such as an underactive thyroid.  It runs in my family and can only be determined by a blood test but they have to test for it.  If you do, then they usually prescribe prescription pills and you pretty much melt off the fat.  Hope this might help.

I'm currently 15 and i'v been working out overall for my whole body fro about 4 or 5 months now.

My most important part is the 6-pack.

It seems as it's coming but I tend to lay back from time to time and eat some greatly caloried food.

I'm "supposibly" very skinny and fit but i just dont feel an improvment in the last 2 months or so.

It just seems as my 6-pack would look rock solid if i loose some stomach fat.

Is it because i'm gaining fat&& should i do something to reduce it now?

More muscle less fat.... aerobic exercise is NOT THE SOLUTION. Richard Simmons versus any kettle bell or weight training person. Muscle burns fat and you cannot get muscle unless you eat enough calories. Dieting will never work and aerobics is not the answer either.

what i do to loose belly fat is to make a chart and each day i write how many push-ups,sit-ups,and how many minutes i walk. in the chart you make a goal you want to suceed like lets say 100 push-ups and when you suceed you make a new one. i lost 5 pounds in less than 1 month! (P.S)you have to do this every day

the best thing to do is to stop eating a lot of carbs such as bread, rice and pasta. these have a lot of calories and can make you gain a lot of weight. eat more protein suchas meat, meats, fish and eggs and vegetables instead. instead of walking, powerwalk or jog. you could also try jump rope for 20 min a day to begin with and then increase it little by little.

if you really want to lose weight focus less tryign to increase your muscles. cardio workouts will help you burn fat/calories and will show a significant weight loss.

the thing that really worked for me was not eating carbs anymore. i dont eat chips, potatoes, rice, pasta, bread and sugary foods. try to cut back on those and you WILL see a difference.

goodluck!
