Legal Abuse

Until something terrible happens to you and you are forced to interact with the American legal system for an extended period of time, you might never know the violation of basic human rights that go on there. Most significantly this applies to the American family court System. I am not referring to disgruntled parent or occasionally ineffective court personnel, I am talking about a systematic erosion of parental rights. This is especially seen when an allegation of abuse has been made by one party. The more flagrant or destructive the abuse , the more hard evidence of abuse against children, the more wealthy the perpetrator or cunning, the more the family court system will serve the agenda of the perptrator.

As a psychothrerpist for 24 years prior to becoming entrapped in the family court system at first I was stunned. I found myself making statements such as "I am an American citizen" as bizarre court orders were inflicted upon me and my chidlren. I personally feel that a diagnosis of court-inflicted abuse needs to be added to the DSM IV, the standard diagnotic manual used by psychotherapists. The cycles of trauma response are similar to those experienced by incest victims, adult rape victims, or anyone who has endured systematic, prolonged, precalculated and violent intrusion and destruction at the hands of a person in a position of trust. What separates the Family Court Abuse is that if one is protecting young children from actual harm the adult, usually the mother , may be subjected to ongoing abuse for up to 18 years. What also separates legal abuse in the family court system is the financial, emotionsal and spiritual rape by several people in authority at the same time. In this way it is more similar to ritual or cult abuse than to any other type of abuse.

A foundation used by the Family Court Syytem to harm women and children is the work of Richard Gardner. Gardner openly recommended incest between fathers and daughters. He also violently killed himself with multiple stab wounds and callously left his body for his own son to find. He was a pshysican so he easly coudl have killed himself with pharmaceuticals sparing his son the gruesome discovery of his body. Richard Gardner developed PAS of Parental Alienation Syndrome as a basis for harming women who are protecting their chidlren from violent perpetrators. PAS is not recognized by the American Psychoological Association. Neither is the work of Richard Garndner. but American women are regularly incaracerated, their chidlren sujected to torture at the hands of violent fathers and women losing all contact with the very chidlren they have been trying to protect. All of this action is taken based upon Richard Gardrners theory of Parental Alienation.
