Spreading the word to be a Christian and to do good will is easy to do when people want to listen. It's easy to tell people who want to do good how to do "Good". It's even easier to tell people who actually come to services. What's difficult is to spread the Word to people who you do not see or who do not know what they want. Years ago, the best way to recruit people to the church or to simply spread the Word was pretty much a word of mouth or a grassroots campaign that required people to go door to door. Now, with technology there are so many other great ways to do it.

First of all, websites that contain relevant information as well as a sign up for an email newsletter can be a great way. The website can give information about the church, services, bible stories and kids' pages. Periodic emails can go out to the mailing list and give them short stories, suggestions, or other information. For a group or organization that has the time and resources to build up a website as well as get it onto the search engines this would be a great choice.

Another option using technology would be web casts of sermons and church services for people who cannot get to church for whatever reason. These can be set up on a website and people can access whatever topic they want when they want to hear it. The one limit with this is that people who aren't looking for it won't find it or want to listen to it.

Television commercials can spread the Word as well as give information about doing good will and can be especially powerful if they use celebrities. The problem with them is that the expense can be debilitating.

To get information out there even more subtly to let people know that they can follow the Golden Rule, live a Christian life or even just be kinder to others around them it takes a little more creativity. One way to do this is to make Christian bumper stickers that send the message. They are easy to make and even easier to use. "Your Bumper Sticker Maker" (www.custombumperstickermaker.com) is an easy-to-use computer program that allows users to design and print bumper stickers.

With "Your Bumper Sticker Maker" you can make as little as one bumper sticker to as many as you want and put them on your car or give them to others. People drive, they see other cars, they read the bumper stickers. Whether they are looking for it or not, they will see the messages you're trying to send.
