What is the 5.5 Memory Foam Scam? You will find them for the most part on auction sites. No mention of the density of the memory foam, just the number 5.5 followed by memory foam mattress or memory foam mattress topper. The price associated is low, giving the consumer the feeling of a bargain. What you won’t find in the ads is the word 5.5 density memory foam. The wording of the ads sure makes it seem as if you are getting a memory foam mattress or memory foam topper with 5.5 density memory foam. I’ve read them and the ads are written to make you think you are getting a bargain.

What you are getting is maybe ½" 5.5 density memory foam on a lower density foam. You are purchasing an imported product, which has been compressed for months and months before it arrives at your home. For the most part you are purchasing your product on an auction format. (If you don’t give good feedback you receive negative feedback). You are told to let your new memory foam mattress or mattress pad to sit for 48-72 hours to allow air back into it. If you notice an odor, well then spray some Febreze on it.

Each month we receive offers to purchase imported memory foam mattresses and memory foam mattress toppers. Our policy is to market only high quality Made in the USA Memory Foam.
