If small door dings on your car do not bother you do not read this. You are wasting your time.

If you like having small dings and dents on your un paid for vechicle don't read.

But if they seem magnified whenever you look at or walk by your car read on.

Paintless Dent Repair is the perfect solution for dings and minor dents.

The process goes something like this.

When the dent tech first sees the damaged area he or she will assess the area.

Is the dent too deep, is the paint damaged, is there a previous bondo repair, and can it be accessed?

If the damage is too deep the metal is streatched and cannot be repaired 100%, yet even these repairs in the hand of experience will be acceptable, rivaling traditional bodyshop repairs. Paint damage speaks for itself. A previous bondo repair will not allow the tech. to see the reflection of the tool(s) which he uses to make the repair. If the repair is to be made access is critical.

For example, a door ding will be accessed generally down the window opening, using special tools that protect the glass. Quarter panels can be accessed through tailights, and wheelwells. Fenders by wheelwells and headlights. Some times there are obstacals such as braces , that require special flat tools, such as whaletails. that can fit in the tight spaces between the outer skin and the inner brace.

The dent is worked from behind the panel with special tools. Many precise pushes are made and in essence the damage is reversed. Reflections enable the dent tech to make these accurate pushes. Reflections ranging from natural to painted boards and lights.

Repair times range from 15min. to 3 hrs. depending on type of damage and location.

Anyone that knows traditional bodywork can appretiate PDR: no painting ,no grinding.

PDR allows you to keep the original factory finish, which cannot be duplicated, intact.
