This title is part of a well-known TV comedian’s routine. He explains you can fix an ugly face and you can fix an ugly body but “you just can’t fix stupid“. Well that led me to write this article, which if you get to read it you will notice it most likely will not get Home Page play and if it does it will certainly not get the number of days many other articles do. Notice, I did not say it wouldn’t just that it probably wouldn’t.

Well I was reading an article on the editorial page of the St. Petersburg Times “ In this age of terror one illegal is too many" by Pinkerton of Newsday. It to me was an excellent article because I have been writing to this very subject for multiple years. Certainly as I have mentioned it seems all of a sudden an electric bolt has gone off and everywhere I turn in print or TV and Radio there goes what I have been saying. In fact in many instances it is almost verbatim.

Now I am not saying that I am “the" catalyst not that people are using my work, although there are times when I feel that way but what I am saying is people are starting to notice what I have been saying. Not because I said it but because it is so obvious.

Now here is the strange part. This same paper wrote a “front page" article concerning Immigration Reform for “illegal immigrants“. Well once again I must clarify, as Paul Harvey, a well respected newsman used to say "and now the rest of the story". The first correction is that they are not “immigrants" they are illegal nationals from another nation who came here by circumventing the legal process. They may be "undocumented" until they secure their stolen or forged I.D., which makes them good people I guess in today’s interpretation of definitions. Well once again as I have mentioned can you really trust what you read to hear in the press and “who" is writing it? In my opinion it is more like propaganda.

Here is an example, they state “"Polls show Americans overwhelmingly support immigration reform that includes citizenship. I think people are in favor of Immigration reform, why who knows, we are talking crime not immigration, but that said let them strengthen it not weaken it. You see people are in favor of fairness. So why not grant those who want to kill soldiers at Fort Dix citizenship? Oh they broke the law and these “illegal immigrants" just committed a misdemeanor? Well once again if you believe that I guess “ you just can’t fix stupid“.

Fraud and identity theft is a felony and they cause a severe hardship on people so they can gain employment but who cares it is not me, right? For now it may be true but what if? You think that silly protection you purchased is going to help? Well if you do “ you just can’t fix stupid“. Let me ask this. Is their employer, who aids and abets the commission of their crime and in the commission of their own crime by employing them guilty as well? No you say well my answer to that is “ you just can’t fix stupid“.

So if you don’t understand all of this this simple truth is “ you just can’t fix stupid“.

Rhetorically and in my opinion you have to be either stupid, they are stupid or you are both stupid? I for myself am of the opinion that they are not stupid people and neither are you. Now as for them they have an agenda and goal and their agenda and goal even though they swore and oath before God, profess they believe and sing Gospel songs is to do what they want and the hell with you.

As for you, which includes every average American, and the growing number of have-nots or ex middle class peole, we are either totally upset or just apathetic or finally just stupid? For those who fit into the stupid group we all understand by now “you just can’t fix stupid“. For those who are apathetic, well what can you say? These are the whiners of society who will complain about everything, do little to nothing and vote for people they know nothing really about. You know as that old saying that starts out, “I stand before you, to be behind you, to tell you a story I know nothing about" etc, and they all buy into it. You know the ones who vote for promises, the ones who vote because daddy did and “I’ve always been". You know what we can do about them don’t you? That’s right, you just can’t fix stupid“.

So when you hear the rhetoric and you hear what we Americans want just remember who is providing this information. Just remember what you hear and what you get rarely matches you want and expect. Just remember how many problems there are in America from A-Z.

Then ask yourself this you have-not and please don't bother you who have, you see in my opinion many of you haves are in heaven and we know you do not give a damn because it is all about money and nothing else. So for you have-nots I ask, is it any better today then it was eight or ten years ago? Has the country changed drastically in culture, values and morals in that period? Do you really believe these businesses and those in power have your interests at heart? Do you really believe we are as powerful as they claim we are? Do we you really and sincerely believe we have the manufacturing capability we had even five years ago? Do you like being forced to accept Spanish? Do you think our trade agreements favor America?

If your answer yes to those basic questions then all I can say as an opinion is “you just can’t fix stupid“ and while you are entiled to your opinion concerning me the answer lies in the future. I for one hope you are right because I certainly am not against legal immigration and the values and morals which in my opinion were America.

In the words of Forest Gump "stupid is what stupid does" In my opinion the problem is with the system. To work within the system takes stupidity, the whole system of government has to change.
