In today’s article, I am going to discuss why it is so important to keep your head behind the ball to make solid contact virtually every time you play.

Do you struggle when playing to hit the ball consistently? Do you find some days you can hit it easily and other days you feel like you have never picked up a club before? Believe me, I understand your frustration. We have all been there. It’s the one thing that seems to elude all of us, consistent solid contact.

Well, what if I told you it was easy as keeping your head behind the ball? How does keeping your head behind the ball have to do with solid contact you may be asking?

It has everything to do with it if you think about it.

We all know that hitting the ball solid requires us to really be flawless in the hitting zone. Most of the errant shots you hit are when you are getting back to the ball. This happens because you either move your head, lift it, throw the club at the ball, the list goes on and on.

So here’s the way to stop that and to make solid contact almost every time. The key is as you probably guessed is to keep your head behind the ball at impact. This allows you to stay in the shot, your body is doing most of the work and you should make solid contact every time. Also if you are like most amateurs you tend to lift your head at times. By really concentrating on keeping your head behind the ball at impact, you will not do this and you should hit it solid every time.

Keeping your head behind the ball cures a lot of your problems because by doing so will allow you to swing the club and just make solid contact. It is just one thing to focus on instead of 3 or 4. Keeping it simple will also make you more confident.

Practice it on the driving range and I think you will be surprised at how much better you will hit the ball.

To your golfing success.

Nick

Excellent piece of advice, and also try keeping head looking at ball spot until the swing seems to pull your head around.

Hey Nick I'm in baseball here. Was wondering if you could take a look at my product. I'm thinkin something similar on a visor would work for golf. What do you think? I don't know now how to have you look at the product because I can't leave an email address or web address for you to look at google headontheball all one word.
