Actually, the key to getting rid of abdominal fat is eating more fat - specifically, monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) , which fuel brainpower and prevent the body from becoming physiologically stressed. Without enough MUFAs, levels of the stress hormone costisol spike, and new research has linked excess cortisol with fat accumulation in the abdomen. Avocados and peanuts are some of the rich sources of MUFAs.

Try this avocado smoothies to incorporate this belly fat-burning fruit.

AVOCADO AVALANCHE SMOOTHIE

You can throw just about anything in a fruit smoothie to enhance its flavor such as honey, tofu, jams, any combination of fruits, peanut butter, juices, etc., but keep in mind it will effect the nutritional values .

1 large avocado

2 teaspoons condensed milk

1 cup ice

Scoop out avocado into blender.

Add 2 teaspoons condensed milk or a little more, depending on how sweet you like it. Then add the ice and blend all of it together

until it's a semi-creamy texture.

Good to Know:

One Avocado delivers a whooping 11 grams of fiber.

1/4 avocado = 4 grams

Avocado is rich in magnesium that reduces risk of excess belly fat, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high blood sugar- the symptoms of metabolic syndrome.

Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fat that can lower cholesterol.
