Take your #7 Blade start at the base of the head with the blade going in the same direction of the way the hair grows and stroke down the back to the tip of the tail.

Repeat until you reach the top of the withers on the front legs and the top of the thigh on the back legs.

Clip the front legs with a downward stroke from the withers to the top of the first leg joint. (or to the beginning of the leg).

Clip the hair in a downward stroke starting at the top of the thigh down the hind leg to the ankle leaving about 1inch of hair on the front of the hind leg.

Start at the same point on the thigh and clip in a downward stroke from the front of the thigh on the side of the chest gradually making a slant line to the top of the leg.

Shave the tail

Clip the inside of inner thigh down to the ankle in a downward motion.

Shave the neck in a downward stroke and stop 1 ½ inches above the breast bone.

Save ears # 10 blade - start at the base of the ear and use an upward stoke towards the tip or end of ear. NEVER clip the ear in an downward stroke.

Scissor the rest of the ear making sure your scissors tips are pointing upward

Shave down the sides of the cheeks

Take your # 7 blade and clip towards you or against the way the hair grows on the top of the head. Stop and leave 1 inch above eye socket making a slight V shape in-between the eyes .

Start at the outer end of the eyebrow closest to the ear, and shave at an 40 degree angle or about ½ inch down, stop when you reach the middle of the eye.

Place scissors at the outer edge of the eyebrow closest to the ear with your scissor tips facing outward away from the dog. Clip at a slight angle towards the bridge of the nose.

Trim the beard

Take one foot and hold it up so the leg and foot is pointing at your body gently, comb the hair in a downward stroke so hair falls behind the leg, scissor to even up.

Trim around the feet.

From the corner of the outer hind leg area angle your scissors with the tips away from the dog and trim the chest hair

Use a # 10 blade to shave the tummy
