How do you like to spend your day out with the girls? Do you enjoy quality time as part of a mother & daughter team? Are you tired of the same old weekend routine of going to the movies and then out to lunch? The next time you have a day to play, try going to a craft boutique. Boutiques can be such a fun and rewarding day out.

Most boutiques - craft fairs are held in the spring for Mothers day, fall and Christmas. Boutiques are a shopper's dream come true. The best way to shop a boutique is to go up one side of the isle then down the other; that way you do not over look something extraordinary. Each booth is the occupants own little store, therefore each one has different and unique display of arts and crafts. You can find boutique type stores that are open year round, but when you can shop at them anytime they don't hold the draw of the boutiques that are held seasonally.

You can find many different types of boutiques, craft fairs & art shows.

Some are individually owned and operated, others are held by different organizations and in various locations. Many schools and churches hold small craft fairs; generally to earn money for a variety of needs. There are many large shows that are held outdoors, these are fun to attend but the weather does not always cooperate. Most of the smaller shows are held indoors where the weather does not affect the turnout.

Most show promoters jury the vendors to bring you customer quality products.

The best thing about a boutique - craft fair is that each of the vendors specialize in their own product. You can find many unique goods that have been handcrafted with love. Some of the different products you will find are home décor items, wood products, floral arrangements, jewelry & clothing etc. You as the customer should be able to find anything your heart desires at a craft show.

Regardless of what you are looking for, boutiques are the place to shop. If you have looked around your home, and thought, " It needs an update," you should be able to find the newest trends in home décor at a boutique. You will also find many great gift ideas and personal items for yourself or a family member.

No matter the type or size of the boutique - craft show, they are usually a lot of fun. You can spend hours roaming around, looking from booth to booth.

Then the fun begins deciding what you would like to buy. This can be a journey or quest for everyone looking for that perfect item for the home or to give as a special gift.

So the next time you and your friends are planning a day out, or even if you are looking to spend quality time with a family member, plan your day around a craft show in your area. It will be a day to be remembered.
