Most of us have the same problem – dark or under eye circles. How come we are so prone to it? If you don’t sleep well for a few nights, you will start seeing panda eyes in front of the mirror.

The skin under our eyes is thin. It is easily susceptible to nature elements which would cause it to be dry. Poor diet and lack of sleep are usually the common reasons on why people get dark eye circles easily.

We might not know this. With the hectic lifestyle and the increased use of computers, most of us spent hours staring at the computer and doing work. What we don’t realize is that this is a common cause for dark eye circles. Fatigue is a common cause for the skin underneath the eyes to darken. Take a few minutes of vision break to reduce fatigue.

You could be spending tons of money to reduce eye puffiness and dark eye circles but how effective are they? There isn’t one single method which works best for everyone. Each one had different body constitution and thus it is really dependent on which method works for you. For example, you might be spending heaps of money on eye care products. Should you be opting for the more expensive eye creams in the market? Should you go for the mid price products? Does the pricier eye gel or cream works better? These might be some doubts or questions that you would ask yourself at the cosmetic counters. Even I have the same question in my head. When I was hunting for an eye cream that suits my needs, I did some research and went to cosmetics counter to look and compare.

I have seen commercials on the before and after effects of using certain products. But I do have my own reservations. The skin under the eyes is delicate. Thus an abuse or misuse of eye products can cause serious consequences. You might end up having oil seeds under your eyes if your eye products are too rich.

The most effective way to use eye cream and gel is to combine it with some simple massage steps. Dap a few dots of the eye cream or gel around your eye area. Starting at the corner below the eye, slowly massage outwards. Then tap lightly under the eye.

If you go for facials, your beautician might be promoting some products to you. If you have trialed and tested on that product, it should be fine to go ahead to purchase that eye cream or gel for daily usage. I especially like it when my beautician put eye paraffin on me. It is hot wax which nourishes and improves blood circulation, thus reducing dark under eye circles.

Though there are ways available in the market to reduce dark eye circles, basics such as proper sleep, diet and drinking lots of water remain the best ways to combat this problem.
