When it comes to Texas, you know there are many horse auction sites. The horse industry is huge in Texas therefore there is certainly no shortage of resources for horse auctions in this state.

According to www.netposse.com there are over 100 auctions in Texas and they exist over the entire state of Texas. Regardless of your location in Texas, you will find a horse auction close to you.

Here is a sample list of the top ten horse auctions in Texas according to www.netposse.com You may want to contact each location to find out exactly how their auctions work and what items they have on auction. For this reason I have included addresses and phone numbers for easy reference.

1.Algoa Livestock Exchange - 17017 Auction Barn Road, Algoa, TX 77511; (936) 449-5555; (936) 537-1123; Friday, 7:00 pm

2. Amarillo Livestock Auction Inc - 100 South Manhattan Street, Amarillo, TX 79104; (806) 373-7464; Tuesday, 10:00 am

3. Atascosa Livestock Exchange - Highway 97 West, Pleasanton, TX 78064; (830) 569-2516; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

7. Great Western Trading Co - horses, mules, donkeys, tack, trailers, etc. Every Saturday, starts around 6:00 PM FM 1488 between Conroe and Magnolia.
