There are many easy magic tricks for kids of all ages to learn, from a four year old to an eighty year old kid if need be! However, if you are more interested in getting your young-in-age kids to learn magic, and not necessarily your young-at-heart kids, there is no need to worry.
The first great step to getting your kids interested in magic is to take them to a real live magic show with all the trappings. This is the way that most kids get hooked on the wonders of magic. From there you can take it one step further, if they don’t beg you to do so anyway as soon as the magic show finishes!
Some easy magic tricks for kids can be found simply by trawling through the internet for magic tricks and information on all things magic. If you don’t want to take this option, you can also buy a book which will take you through the basics of magic, and in the process maybe even divulging some easy magic tricks for kids.
Of course, you could just make it easy on yourself and get yourself a beginner’s magic book which would contains such easy magic tricks, or even a beginner’s kids magic book for inspiration.
If your child is very young, this is also a great way for you to bond with your child, not to mention fun into the bargain. Learn patience when you are dealing with very young children and help them through these easy magic tricks for kids, so that in the end, when they get it right, they will have confidence in themselves and more importantly they will also feel like continuing with the magic tricks.
You might even be able to find some summer courses or things at your local learning centers or whatnot, which teach easy magic tricks for kids. This can be a great hobby for your older children as well. It’s not only fun, but it also has the bonus of impressing people if performed properly!
The key then to performing even these easy magic tricks for kids is practice. But you don’t want to overdo it when you are dealing with very young kids. Sure they should practice, but not religiously, and not in a manner designed to take the “magic" out of magic. Keep it light and easy, and you will be rewarded by the shining joy in your kids eyes when they get it right, in their way.
