We all go through the same cycle of life whether we are Caucasians, Asians or Middle Eastern or whatever religion we belief. Most of the time we only know how to complain. The following are some of the blessings we have but overlook it because we are all too self-centered to notice it.
1) Does studying annoy you? There are millions of children out there that have no basic education and no classroom to attend. They use what nature has given them into good use by using sand on the ground as their blackboard to write.
2) Hate veggies? When good food are place on our table, most often than not we choose only the food that we like to eat and complain about how not tasty the food is and we order more than we need and throw away food that we cannot finish or don’t like. There are millions of people out there that are starving with hunger.
3) On a diet? Millions of people are dying from under nourishment and yet we complain about how we look and spend thousands of dollars to get that extra pounds off. Add the letter T to DIE and you get the word DIET.
4) Does your parent’s care tired you? Most of the time we get annoyed when our parent’s care for us. Parents will stay up late to see whether their children has reached home safe on a night out and we always feel that they are intruding in our life but in actual fact what they are doing is caring for us. Do you think they have nothing better to do? Millions of children out there have got no parents to care for them because their parents are no longer around due to war or diseases.
5) Bored of the same games? Technology has brought thousands of games into our living home but yet we complain why we play the same game all the time. Millions of children out there are playing in rubbish dumps and killing fields.
6) Someone got you Adidas instead of Nike? Well, the only brand they know is made of two empty plastic bottles.
7) Aren’t thankful for a bed we sleep in? Why is my room and bed so small? This is common remark we hear nowadays. There are millions of people out there sleeping on the street and wish not to wake up.
Are you still complaining? Observe around you and be thankful for all that you have in this transitory lifetime. We are fortunate to have more than we need. We are blessed so we can be a blessing to others. Let us all try to help the needy in our own little ways even if it is with just a prayer. This is the true meaning of Life.
