If you like light and bright atmosphere, then check out these tips for windows. This is a relatively easy task. The first thing that you have to do is to hang one-way-view custom roller shade. They are made of perforated material that is similar to the vinyl baby shades used for cars.

Even when they are pulled down to the sill they still give you the option to see out and filter sunlight and also obscure the view when you look from the outside. Next you have to install a pleated window shade the one with a honeycomb profile shape with light-diffusing qualities. The translucent window covering is a great thermal barrier.

After that put sheer curtains of fabric like voile or batiste that is three times as wide as the window. After that look at the light-diffusing horizontal blinds that are made of sheer fabric vanes inside a sheer fabric shell. The drawback of this is that custom made treatment is expensive.

Next install a caf? type curtain that is lightweight and unlined fabric that best admits light. It is below the top of the window, leaving a quarter of the glass exposed but it maintains privacy. The window will have a transform effect, letting the sunlight from the top of the curtain rod. After that hang the lightweight unlined curtains.

Then you will lose a fair moment of sunlight but there are many inexpensive and ready made options in the stores. Keep in mind the sheer vertical blinds that diffuse the light and obstruct the views into the room and out of it. Nowadays, verticals may show much more style than the limited coarse-textured or plain-vinyl styles of the past. You can also put a matchstick blind that allows light to filter into the room through the reeds.

The classic choice is the natural bamboo, although matchstick styles are mainly found in vinyl. The last step is to skip the window treatment and to consider one of the few options. You can use a window with frosted or seeded or sand-blasted glass, a stained -glass window, or glass blocks.

The things that you are going to need are: sheer horizontal blinds, light-filtering pleated window shades, perforated window shades, unlined curtains, glass blocks, sheer vertical blinds, sheer curtains, matchstick blinds, windows that obscures view.
